1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. i think i am a person who likes, DIY, but i am not the perfect ones, i like to make everything i can think about on my own, but i not able to make it perfect, end up i maybe spend up money to get better one for my doll instead of wearing what i make. too embarrassed !! but slowly i find out that i enjoy on making out miniatures, enjoy in making some clothes and shoes for them although it doesn't really perfect for them :) well, i am learning.

    2. I am a dreamer with a hint of hobbyist. I love writing a blog, and building dollhouses for my tiny BJDs.

    3. A dreamer! :whee: I really do love seeing ideas I had come to life through my dolls.

    4. I definitely fit into the "Hobbyist" category. I would love to try doing faceups some day, but for now I just plan to make things like clothes and furniture. I actually bought my first two dolls for the sake of making doll clothes! =D

    5. I'm a dreamer primarily, then a hobbyist. I've become more crafty in the past year with sewing and faceups.

    6. Hobbyist. I like posing Natsume in different poses for photoshoots and I like sewing him clothes too.

    7. I think, I am Dreamer .
I decide to order my first doll because I want to "cosplay" "one" of my doll to be vampire (from novel).
      ( But today I have 4 dolls...T T)

    8. I am both the dreamer and hobbyist~ I love to draw and rp, it's all I ever do in my free time x] I have already a set of characters I really love and will turn into dolls~ they have been with me for a very very long time - at least, two of them have. Ad for the hobbyist part, I LOVE love love to craft! I draw, crochet, do DIY stuff, and also I love to do make up~ /I am an make up enthusiast haha/ so the thought of doing faceup draws me more into the hobby~ I haven't done one yet but I plan to on my first bjd! I also aim to learn how to sew my own bjd clothes in the future! I just love the thought of making all sort of cool things for my future family of dolls! ^U^

    9. Definitely a Dreamer. I create characters for them and I even write small stories with them ^^...

    10. I'm between a hobbyist and a collector. I like the customization of bjds and being able to learn new things to make. Bjds have motivated me to learn how to sew and draw again. And I also consider myself as a collector, as I like having different dolls, not necessarily limited editions, but collecting the sculpts I love since I entered the hobby, back in 2006. I'm a proud owner of bjds that are now sold out for many years and they are my Grail dolls [emoji173]️

    11. I'm totally a hobbyist. I really love sewing things for my dolls, and doing their faceups, and I love taking pictures of them and sharing them on my blog! I love going back and looking at my blog too. ^.^

    12. Hobbyist/dreamer

I really ought to share what I do more though!

    13. Hobbyist....but, I'm a bit of a dreamer too :)

    14. Hobbyist and dreamer... I want to be a collector too later, when i'll be older with money ^^

    15. Not that I actually have a collection yet, but I guess I identify most with your collector description. I'm not much of a storywriter and I'm certainly not an artist :P We'll see if anything changes though

    16. I am generally a collector: books, fountain pens, hockey cards, action figures, Mearschaum pipes, jade carvings. I joke that I collect collections. But with BJDs I am a hobbyist because the focus is on the customizing: face ups, sewing clothes, making jewelry for my dolls rather than simply collecting a premade product. They are pieces of art like a blank canvas that I can bring to life.

    17. Collector/Dreamer with a little dash of hobbyist )) Wish I could do more for my dolls myself)

    18. Mainly collector with a dash of hobbyist. I like to fix up my dolls but none have anything like a backstory and such.

    19. I am mostly a collector, but I enjoy doing face-up and making clothes. The problem is, I'm not very good at these things. I'm a collector who dreams of being a hobbyist, I guess. :) Once I have more practice, I would like to be a collector-hobbyist hybrid.

    20. Is it possible to be all of them? Because even though I don't have my dolls yet, I feel like I'd fall into every category.
