1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I am definitely a ''Hobbyist''^^

    2. hobbyist and dreamer

    3. I love to take pictures, but I am not good at it. I have most of my dream dollies, so I am not much of a dreamer. So I guess I would be a collector (though photography and my love of it plays a heavy part in what I chose to buy).

    4. I'm a hardcore Dreamer! :aheartbea And proud of it, too. My Bella isn't too fantastic, but... she's the me I wish I could be. Hee~

    5. I'm somewhere in between Hobbyist and Dreamer!

    6. Overall dreamer, mixed with a hobbyist, and a teeny bit of collector (I love to horde things) I may not have a doll yet, but I have a novel I've been writing, and it'd be a ton of fun, and love/tenderness for me, to have a doll, a life like interpretation of my characters for it (maybe even for the book cover? :P)

I can hardly sew, but I'm trying to learn just for this, and before I got into Dollfies, I've made jewelry, I write, I draw, and other "creative" things. So for me it's a bit of a mix.

    7. I don't have any yet, but I know that I wont be as into collecting or making clothes as "playing" with them, I've always had that kind of imagination.

    8. I found I fit in to all three categories maybe this is way I have SO much stuff!

    9. It's hard to choose an answer to this!! I'm definitely a hobbyist since I'm always making my dolls clothes... but I have so many solls & accessories that I would definitely qualify as a collector... but I always make up stories with my dolls and little dialogues, I have even been toying with the idea of making a photo comic with them, so I guess that would make me a dreamer too! Is it possible to be 1/3 of each??

    10. A little bit of both Hobbyist and Dreamer. They are my characters and my babies, and I love to create things for them. :)

    11. I am most definitly a dreamer O.o My dolls are my "children" so to speak, they're my creation of my characters. However I think I might be a little hobbyist.. but mostly dreamer XD

    12. I'm a dreamer at the moment because I've been halted in my savings a few times, and I know I won't be able to get one til about halfway into next year at soonest.

But I guess I'm dreamer and hobbyist. My characters are willed into resin form, then I set about (or intend to set about) building parts of their world: their clothes, their faces etc.

    13. Very Hobbyist..because I feel that if I get a doll, that someone somewhere else has the same of, i'd want to make it purely my won, through faceups, mods, etc.
But Dreamer comes into play there aswell. I think about what I want my doll to be, and I believe them to be real people, because i'm weird..xD Although I dont have a doll yet, I know i'll probably be modifiying all my dolls one day.

I don't even plan to own many! xD

    14. I’m definitely a dreamer. It’s all about the characters, and the things that the doll represents. My boy have his personality, and his backstory and elaborate storyline. Even the ones I only have in my mind.

    15. I'd say I'm a hobbyist/dreamer. I love my little boy to bits and his personality kinda just appeared, but I don't think I really create huge novel-like stories about him. No angels, demons, vampires either. :o But yeah, my doll is almost like a child to me.
I'm a hobbyist because I like how you can customize, dress up, etc dolls. I've never tried, but I'd love to learn!

    16. I'd say a Hobbyist. :) I'm pretty slow getting things done, but the major draw for getting these dolls has been what I could do with them and what clothes to make. Maybe a little bit of the Dreamer too? xD

    17. If I had more funds I'd probably be somewhere between a collector and a dreamer.

    18. I'm definantly a hobbyist, because i love to sew for my dolls, give them faceups and such. i also love to style them, photograph them and cuddle them. But i did make up personalities for them and little stories. When i'm bored at work i imagine stories about them. :)
But there are people who have whole worlds imagined for their dolls, and i'm nothing like that.

    19. A dreamer, the doll I want to get is to be one of my characters... I want to sew clothes for my doll sometime though.

    20. Um, Collector-Hobbyist. I'm not big on playing with or really photographing my dolls much, but I do enjoy making clothing and jewelry for them.
