what kind wig do you prefer( fur,fiber,real human hair?)

It depends on the doll and the wig--I have some fur wigs I really like. They're easy to deal with, come in fun colors, and can be easily styled in different ways. I also like fiber wigs too, though I try and avoid wigs that will tangle easily. I'm not sure how I feel about human hair wigs--I've never seen one in person, so I can't really say.

 

I like the look of the one fur wig I've got, but it makes me sneeze all the time
So I vote for fibre. But I would love a wig made of human (my own) hair. I even have enough to do this, I saved my ponytail when I had my hair cut short. But this will be a long term project for me.

 

I prefer fur, but it looks silly on my boy, so he sticks to fiber. I personally don't like human hair XP The thought of it just creeps me out... unless it's my own hair. But I do think that human hair looks the prettiest.

 

I prefer fiber, but I play with fur wigs sometimes. Mostly only my Kohya can get away with a fur wig, though, because he has the most stylized face of anyone here.

 

I have one human hair wig and I like it, it's easy to handle even though it's very long and it looks pretty(and stays pretty). It doesn't feel as soft as my fiber wigs though. I like both fur and fiber(and human), just depends on what comes along and fits the character ^^

 

I'm going for the fur wigs. Easy to style and many ways to style And well it fits my doll's personality the most. He's going for the out-of-bed punky look.
Maybe (one day) I'll try out a fiber wig...

 

I like fur wigs the best, but I don't see myself getting a whole lot of them in the future if only because they tend to be a lot fluffier, and that doesn't suit Beatrix as well as sleeker hair does.

 

Fiber hair is my favourite to wear on my dolls. I dislike fur wigs and mohair because for some reason i can't stand touching it against my nails.

Human hair creeps me out a fair bit.

 

I like the soft feel of nice synthetic fiber wigs, but the fur can add an interesting twist on the look of the doll.

this is a very tough question. i never see a human hair wig before & Fiber & Wool wig tends to creat different mood for the doll.... what a tough question to answer

 

Human hair wigs give me the heebie-jeebies for reasons that are completely illogical. XD It's also expensive, so I suppose it's for the best. All of my dolls wear fiber wigs. I love the look of mohair, but none of them have hairstyles that are particularly good for mohair.

 

I used to have fur wigs for all of my boys, but I recently switched them to fiber wigs and I'm really just loving them. The fur wigs were easier to keep neat, but they didn't seem to suit the boys very well, and I really wanted to give them a more realistic look. I wouldn't hesitate to use a fur wig, though, if it suited the doll. And I've got one mohair wig that I absolutely adore, even though the doll it's for won't be purchased for another month or two, at least! XD

Basically, I choose the wig type based on the style I'm looking for, and whether it suits the doll that's wearing it.

 

i'm a synth girl all the way...few dolls to me look better in fur.

synth looks more lifelike to me.

 

I believe my Hikari is wearing... fiber hair and its sorta i dont know how to say it... I really want to try human hair... but I dont know where to get one...

 

I kind of do like fur wigs. Fiber is nice but it seems like they're always getting mussed up by me.

 

The idea of human hair wig is.. Well, not for me :P I like fur and fiber wigs, whatever suits the character

 

I like faux fur/mohair or nice quality fiber. Human hair sounds nice, but it might creep me out!
