What RACE are your dolls?

I'd never thought much about it, but there IS a veritable Benetton-ad of multiculti dollies on my table. I don't even know how you classify some.

Some of my Volks dolls are Japanese, and others are various kinds of Caucasoid... one of them is Finnish-American, and if you really want to nitpick about races, the Finns were an offshoot of the Mongolians... my Soom, Dollmore, & Unoa guys are all demons and imps... my Iplehouse guys are both North African (but one of them is half-caucasian)... and my AngelRegion is a Greek, but he's really darn white, so you make the call what race he is.

 

Yup! xD But I'm gonna post in it anyway! :P

Miki is..American. So is Vinz (as they're brothers). They're mostly European (French, Portuguese, German, English), French Canadian, Canadian, Native American, and ooooold Yankee American in blood. Because that's what I am. xD

Miette & Charlot are French.

Taiki is American. His mom was Japanese-American, and his dad..well, I'm not really sure what he was. I'll probably end up saying Irish.

 

Biscuit, Katie, and Rayne were French, but now I'm thinking scattered around the U.K. Coléon is French still. Darya Andrei is from some former Soviet Union territory, and Keaton is Russian and Japanese.

 

This is an interesting thread, i only have one doll now Lilith Andolin (E-an), i suppose her race would be dragon/english mix. Her father was a dragon and her mother from medievil england. She was brought up in the faerie realm tho so race to her isnt important.

I have another 2 doll planned one of which will have no race ever he is the last of his kind and there were only ever 7 of them (doll model is Celestyn).

The last doll i have planned has a new race if you can call it that decended from Werewolves called Ferals. Made that one up, it fitted what i needed (doll model is H.Ducan).

 

well, my mini fee chiwoo's race is human o.o; his nationality, however, japanese and sweedish.

 

Lets see sophia and sakura are both human and japanese, haku is a japanese anime demon, and tsuki-hime is of the immortals.

I don't actually have any dolls yet, but I have four dolls planned right now, three of which are Romanian in heritage/ethnicity/race/whatever, one of which is probably either going to be primarily German, or an American-mutt...

Jungsu is Korean

 

Well, I always figured Nathaniel was Korean since that's where he came from... You know, Latidoll being a Korean company and all... But I guess he doesn't look Korean at all. =/ So then...I'm not sure what he should be. xD I wanna make him French, but I think it's because of the wig he's wearing that he looks French to me. I should buy him a new wig... But anyway, I have no clue!

 

Hmmm.. well let's see.. well most of mine are different ethnically;
Heather is Irish/ Seeligh sidhe ,Iduna is of mixed blood, she is of Norwegian/Irish father,and French/Huron mother,Hiraedd (disembodied head) is Unseeligh Sidhe,and Maximilliana (Ryung) will be of Russian descent,but raised in Canada. She will third generation Russian Canadian. The others when they come will be a mix, of Irish,Scandinavian,and English.Two were Vikings,but all are Immortal,except for Heather,Iduna,and Max

Wow, I never really thought about that with BE. Um ... well he's not exactly human so I don't know if race applies to him. He's a son of Morpheus the God King of Dreams so ... maybe that makes BE "dreamy"? XD; I'm lame ... His last name in doll form is Sommeil so maybe he can be French if he wants to. O:

 

Revival of threads is positively encouraged on DOA, so no worries there.

My dolls are still mostly human, but now with more elves in the mix.

Mostly non-human, I suppose (though I guess my zombie baby used to be human...), but even the human crew is pretty heavy on the "fantasty" side, often popping in unusual eyes and sporting magical-looking hair colors.

That's because it's a frickn' good name. Well, my Nathaniel's a Catholic school boy...but I'm thinking he should be French. Or English... I dunno. =/ I thought I had it, but now I don't. Maybe Spanish?
