What RACE are your dolls?

David is Korean.
Hatsumi is Japanese.
Mel (who is only a head and eyes right now, lol) is Japanese.
My soon-to-be-ordered Layla/Reira will be half Japanese and half Caucasian.

 

I'm guessing Yuki is Japanese..since his name is Japanese..and his eyes are kinda slanty. Zander is going to be American, I suppose. Although Yuki talks english not Japanese. I dunno what Itsume and Shiro are..I always joke with my sister about Itsume. I think she came from a race of frogs. ^_^

Hmmm... well, it's easy to say for the elves... but the humans (Volks Shiro and Cyndy)... I guess they are both Japanese. I did give them Japanese names... and they are originally from Japan...! But it's funny... I never really thought about it that much (shows how well I've developed their characters, poor things!

 

Sadly, none of my current kids have races as in countries. =TwT=
They're too fantasy-oriented to have an earthly land race. XP

 

Well... I never really talked too much about where Iris and her crazy, colorful adopted family of MNF Elf Shiwoos came from. Somewhere fantasy-ish, I suppose. Evie is Irish, because she's based on the Irish mythological tale of Aiobhell. Hrist is Norse, since she's a Valkyrie. And Doyle is an enigma. He won't tell anyone (even me apparently!)

 

I feel a little boring, but as of right now they're all Japanese except Cain. He's half English, half Japanese.

 

Hey, that doesnt mean their characters arent well developed. I really dont read many books that mention race very often at all. Unless its sci-fi, in which case y'know, certain races need to be mentioned because they arent human.

The only races my characters ever have are something like elf, angelish thing, birdish thing (no names yet XD), human, and..erm..yeah. thats it.

 

T'Nara Greer (Limhwa Half-Elf) is actually Half Vulcan and Half Betazoid (which makes for a very peculiar temperment).

My SD16 Amelia (no name yet) is part European and part American Indian (as am I ). She is beautiful and a touch exotic in her beauty plus I feel closer to her because we share an ethnicity (and I am sure there is a bit of vanity involved as well because I am proud of my culture and heritage.)

 

Atsutane and Tetsuya are pretty definitely Japanese
Sane is, or was, human but I never placed just where human Sane was from, maybe he's American, since he speaks English with an American accent?
Bi is Korean and if I keep her sister, Amourette, she will be too uh despite the French name
Crow is a demon and Imp is an imp, neither are of this world
Lucca is a vampire, never thought of his heritage more in depth than that
Zaidelis is part of a six eyed race called Vertils

 

Adèle is French and lived in France for almost her whole life
Darien is English/Lithuanian but grew up in London

 

Hmm, I haven't really thought of it too hard... I guess I've always thought of Faust, Maria and Philippe as Italian. Lotte doesn't really have a nationality since she is a figment of Faust's imagination, she does have little elf ears though, so I guess she could be called an elf. Imaginary elf. :B

Icarus is a robot, but where he was made is unknown.

Christine is Swedish, and Erik is French.

Pit is an angel, and Partena is a goddess/angel.

 

This is interesting. My dolls seem to be quite a strange mixture:
Umbriel (Custom House Petite AI Uriel) is from planet Zumiklox.
Aniara (Lati Green Coco) is from Andromeda galaxy
Caliban (Luts Cutie Delf Cory) is from an imaginary place called Saha-Ran-Alla.
Legolas (Luts MiniFee Shiwoo Elf) is an elf, but not the Legolas from LOTR, only named after him.
Haitula (Serendipity AGA Fairy Cookie) is half fairy and half something undetermined. Recently Haitula has been claiming he is half swamp-monster.
Tuuli and Pyry (OD So Vampires) are vegetarian vampires (they were vegetarian pixies that were bitten by a vampire).
Pollux (OD So Chocolate Vampire) is a chocolate vampire (he was a chocolate figurine that got bitten by a vampire).
Sampo and Pilvi (Lati Yellow Miel and Lami) are hobbits.
Phobos (DOD DOC Homme Kirill) is European, but it is a bit unclear what is his country of origin.
Deimos (Lati Yellow Laches, still in preparation stage) is a demon. (Phobos's sidekick).

 

It's funny, because almost my characters were all based in a fictional place so they haven't really got a recognized race yet. ^_^;

The only dolls that I have that I have a race for are my twin Leeke Sweet Elf girls Kaida and Saiyuri who are kitsunes, presumably of Japanese-esque heritage. The rest of them are a mystery for now.

Not dolls yet, but I have plans to bring at least a few of them to resin form:

Tam & Enek (brothers), Nye, and Kairin: Eastern Highlander in a fictional world. The Highland geography is reminicient of a combo of Tibetian highlands and the Alps, but the people are varied in looks because of the pockets of people that will grow/live alone together for hundreds of years.

Sebastian & Bree: (siblings) Indian (India, not Native American) and Irish, parents were expats to America

Colin:Welsh, English, and Russian heritage, but family is strictly American in culture (Mothers Grandparents moved from the south to the northwest, Fathers came from NY)

Tadzio: Can't tell you ^_~ It's part of the story ending. But the NAME has it's origins in Poland, even if the boy does not.

Christopher & Noah: (Twins) Brazilian, and a myriad of other cultures in their heritage which include Dutch, French, Spanish, South African, and Egyptian. Not that they know anything about any of them.

Alex: Northern Italian and Austrian

 

Akina and Ajisai are both Japanese, but their backstories dictate that they're from different prefectures (Akina is from Kyoto; Sai was born in Saitama prefecture....lots of use of 'Sai,' I just noticed >>; )
Amel is Egyptian from his mother, British from his father.

As for incoming dolls, Anastasios Appolides is Greek, as his name suggests, and Hannelore Tanzer is German.

 

Though her mold probably doesn't really look it, my girl is of french decent on her mother side. I haven't decided on her father side yet, but it may be a bit of an asian descent.

Though her race is more for story purposes. Otherwise, plan and simple, she's just of the "resin" descent. XD

Kai-Hawaiian/Egyptan (Err he has dark skin...so yeah)
Damian- (Well he's a demon) Some demon race...(Albino...but i dont think that's a race...)
Vince- well that's easy Amarican born but of japanes decent...(From mother's side)
Crow- I think she's french...she dosent rember much...but she say's she's french
Haseo-He's from Video game land!
