What RACE are your dolls?

Roxanne and Audley are both English, but Audley doesn't speak in the accent because he studied in the States for most of his life ^w^; One other doll I plan on getting is based off a character, so he's Italian-American

Most of the dolls I'll probably get would be Caucasian XD Though, I'd LOVE to find a nice tan boy for my Persian babe

 

I just have Naomi as a mysterious race that is unheard of and no one knows the name of until some time later on. I like to keep things mysterious with her.

 

I haven't really thought about race, since my dolls live in their own fantasy world. If they were placed in the real world, I guess it would be something like this:

Japanese: Momo (DoC Petsha), Sai (Soom Kanoa)
Finnish: Nuutti (BF Niky), Aamu (BF Emilie)
British: Valentine (BF Jerome)
French: Antoinette (Alice CB)
German: Reigh (RML R01)

I also have some supernatural ingredients in my soup:

-Fairy: Aamu (BF Emilie)
-Gnome/troll/elf: Nuutti (BF Niky)
-Animal spirit: Antoinette (Alice CB)

 

Ummm..honestly,I never thought about race when I was looking at these dolls,unless the site I was looking at actually CALLED them a race. (I think one of the 40-something cm Supia girls is noted as having "Oriental" features on the site.) But I just figured they are what they are. I'm proud to know my ORIGINS,but I don't consider them a RACE,really,more a nationality. And since these dolls are,in my mind,in a world like but not the same as Earth,it's not the Here and Now,I always just figured it was a global race-they are all united,or something like that. Sure,there might be elves versus humans,but not anything because of their "skin" tone. :shrugs:Of course,I'm weird,so....

 

I dont know enough to apply any race categories. But I wouldn't want to anyways, they're beautiful regardless.

 

Haydn and Adel'll both be German. The molds just screamed German to me, so yes. They're... not here yet. But they will be German.

 

I don't tend to choose one unless they already put a race in the description. Then, I just go with what the company says.

 

Verdandi is a huldra, and she's... Norwegian I believe. (Yes, I know, creative. =P /sarcasm)

Edmond is a vampire, and British.

Lotte is half-vampire and half-succubus, as well as half-British and half-German.

As for the dolls I have plans for, Linn is a British vampire, Axel is a German incubus, and Oden is a Japanese demon. XD
(Yes, Axel and Linn are Lotte's parents. =O)

 

Err... Race? As in negro, caucasian etc? Or as in which country/nationality they are from? Well... I am going after nationality then, since everyone else is ^^

Dio: Borned and raised in Hong Kong before moving to Japan

Prince: Mostly English, though his grandmother is Japanese

Constantin: Born in Italia with an italian mother but father from Egypt

Hel: Irish, might be some scandinavian viking blood in there though.

Helle: Demon/death goddess
Daemon: Demon
Odilie: Mortal - haven't decided race, but since she is designed on my own characters, she isn't from any real place
Petra: Formally mortal, now demon.

 

Edgar is Japanese/German
And my future Ninodoll will be full Japanese.​

 

All of my dolls that I have planned to buy and those who are bought but need to arrive, will have Russian names. Because I like Russian names. (the bunny has a different name soon, but non-russian though)

But that does not mean my dolls will be Russian. I don't give them any race. They are just human, elf, vampire or something of both.

 

Nigel is British and an astral vampire.

I know that one of my dolls, Keigo, is Japanese. My other, Ariel, hasn't told me where he's from -- he's more the mystery.

 

We're multiracial! :Ð I have a few humans, and then there are shade-elves, water sprites, pixies and whatever holds my fancies. I'd love to have mermaids, centaurs, satyrs, fauns or any other mythological creature, but then I'd have to make my own.. ;^;

 

Taishou is Japanese. Hiroji is half Japanese. Both are characters from modern world settings.

Lotus, Kurah and Ravenor have nationalities, but given that they're from the Exalted world setting, I doubt it would mean much to most. ^^

 

Mine are not going to have any race or nationality... well... the names are going to be japanese... but that's about it...

 

Ooh interesting. My Teodor doesn't have a race. xD I generally don't think about/like categorizing my dolls into any sort of religion, race, etc. So they're just nothing lol.

 

Loric came from Korea and Giovanni is from Hong Kong, but all of my dolls are going to be Italian, aside from one, which is German.
