What RACE are your dolls?

Leleth (DES) is a Moon Elf and HitomI (DZ Cherry) is, at the moment, an Englishwoman, except that she's dead. She's not a ghost or a zombie, just dead.

When I first showed my sister Hitomi and explained her as an ABJD my sis said "she doesn't look asian, does she?" I thought of her as asian (the doll, not my sis - she's just strange!) so at the moment she's 'playing' a Englishwoman.

My dolls' nationalities are all Jewish, even the notably Asian looking ones.

 

Lol, I've got the black hair blue eye thing going on with several of my guys (they're Irish and related to each other)...except for Cait, but her hair color comes from a bottle

 

Celeste and Drystan are both Americans from the eastern seaboard. Nerine and Carth (once he arrives) are from a fantasy world in a region similar to Europe, probably equivalent to the British Isles area. Nephele is also from the same area, but she's a naiad, so nationality doesn't count as much.

Maglor/Makalaurë (I haven't decided which name I will go with) is one of JRR Tolkien's characters, a Noldorin Elf. Technically he's from Aman, but he's too stubborn to just go home. X3

 

My bois are humanoid, from what I can tell.

Var has got a crazy background, but from what I've figured, his race is like some super human/fae/demon combo but not a true combo since he's not actually any of those but something akin to a combo of those. Yea, I purposefully did that to see if I could confuse anyone. But that's what he is, I swear! I think he has an ugly face to him; snarly & sharp teethed, etc. Don't know if I'd ever find a head to go with THAT side of him.

As for Astra. The boi seems to insist he is some kind of godling. Which would explain why he's lazy. They never actually do anything but lay about and flaunt their power every other millenia or so. As for what /kind/? No kind. He doesn't belong to any sort of mythology, unlike his name. All powerful kind of godling sounds about right. I'm unconvinced since he has yet to pwn Var with supposed powers.

As for future ones...whatever ends up fitting with them is all I can say. ;;

 

well Azi is Mexican, Kade is well American born but his father(Azi) makes him half Mexican half from the under world, and well Nanashi is form the underworld as Knives. and Ranard in Japanese. ^__^

 

Takeru is German Japanese but he was adopted by a Japanese family :'] I like blonde hair and blue/green eyes, but I think his mould makes him look kinda Japanese

Now, mind you, when she comes, she could give me a totally different story (as some do), but for now, until she arrives, Jehremya will be a Michigan, US, born saytr, who followed her heart out of the woods to find her one true love. Followed the idea of love all the way to Arizona.


And promptly lost him. So I took her in, until she either wants to try searching again, or she decides to go home. *Shrugs* Either way.

As for race... I think the Beryl mold has such a ethereal look to it, I can't really pin it on a nationality. So, if I delve that far back, she's probably asian... but that's about it... Who knows with a satyr?

Aurelio is half Chinese, Roshan is of Persian decent, Kyu is Japanese, Vivian is a scientific experiment, Glory is a cacodaemon, Max is... I think mostly of Russian descent, Jules is probably Germanic, Sprocket is apparently from Alaska, Cyrille is French-Canadian, Mordecai is British, and I have NO idea for Mercy, Rhetoric and Fade. Ori is an elf and also a muse

 

The doll I'm waiting for [CP YDER] is going to be Irish-German-American...Is that what you would call it? XD Well he was born in the United States but has Irish and German blood...And so will his sister.
I guess that's not too special or anything, especially since I share the same ethnic background...^-^;
As for the other ones I'm planning for, I'm not sure yet...

 

My first doll will be a Korean-born Canadian. She's from Korea, I'm from Korea, might as well just keep things simple.

She'll have both an English name and a Korean name like me, although my English name is really French. Her sculpt name (TF Xiao) is Chinese, but it's also the first character of my best friend's name. It may be commonly used, but I think it makes her a little more special to me.

My second doll will be a TF Kyle, who will be a Canadian-born Chinese to reflect my partner's background. They even have the same name, haha.

Loki is French (Loki isn't his real name) but he later moved to Quebec. He is a human being with a few extra powers that were given to him without his agreement
Lyre, Cat and Thistle: all animal deities.
Mellisa:vampire.
Lava: Mel's daughter and therefore a vampire too
Sora:half-elf, half-human and from France.
Syllan: was once human but was turned into a werewolf and then a vampire too, messing up his body. He is also French.
Kyriel: succubus who somehow ended up on earth. Currently is in human form.
Yumiko: ghost/demonic spirit, was Japanese
Rei'yn: Elf
Kestrel: Human, half Chinese, half Canadian
Remi: Human

Ok Aderyn is English as she is a poroper english lady. so her brother will be english as well.

their "big sister" Arlais. is hard for me since the charater is a very pretty coffee with milk color for her skin.(( I am going with a doll who's face looks right but for the color of her skin...) not only that she's from an RPG by White wolf called Exalted..... so she's just plan going to be messed up in the "real world"

As for the baby i think she's going to be american, just so she can fit in with the rest of the family.

 

I don't know whether you knew this, but Aderyn is a sweet Welsh girl's name, it means 'bird'

 

Well Aimee's parents are French (Which I'm hoping you could guess from a name like Aimee Fontaine. )

Deej is a total mutt boy. Good chunk of him is Irish though. ​

 

My boy is half Italian half Spanish.

 

My little girl is japanese, my little boy is half japanese/half demon, and my big boy is god of wind. :3

 

When my first BJD arrives some time next month in the post, I've decided she will be English like myself!
Though I'm torn between names, Freya or Dulce.. hmmmm, I'm leaning more towards Freya I think.
Any thoughts? o.O
