What RACE are your dolls?

yes I did Arlais is also welsh and the brother will have a welsh name as well..........
my family is VERY big into welsh names.

 

My first girl doesn't have any set nationality as it isn't particularly relevant to her personality or anything but my next one is going to be half french half japanese and struggling to come to terms with the japanese half so she often goes by monique instead of momoko

 

Yay Sadly my family isn't and we're Welsh I'm going to give all my real babies Welsh names when the time comes, but I'll just have to give my resin babies Welsh names for the time being

Mine don't really have "races" so much as "species"...or something. Zenshin is a karasu tengu, a Japanese crow/raven spirit, and Hinoko is a kitsune. Minnaloushe is a kind of Faerie of the Seelie Court, a great-something-or-other-grandchild of the fairytale King of the Cats (and somehow related to Puss in Boots as well). She doesn't shapeshift, so she isn't a bakeneko, and although she's still a kitten, she's the oldest of them all. Tamerlane, who doesn't have a resin form yet, is a cousin. Kiyoshi and Yasahiro are both ghosts or cursed human spirits; they were born in the Meiji Era in Japan and died either late in the Meiji or early in the Taisho Period.

I can't remember if I responded to this thread of not, so please excuse me if I have. Short memory and all.

Mine are all mixed race, like me, except for my tinies. They are all elf, with the exception of Bong who is Korean, like my mom.

 

I think (XD) Picara is Irish. But her character's parents were frequent world travelers, so she's lived in at least six countries at one time or another.

 

I'm pretty sure my eventual boy will be English or German or Scandinavian.
I have a pretty big obsession with Europe, and unless a doll had very Asiatic or African or Indian (etc) features, they'd end up being Europeans for me.

Even an African-ish doll could be European...a Moor like Othello! XD.

 

I'd like my baby to be Lebanese, since I'm half. It all depends on whether or not I switch Tony's eyes. Currently his eyes are a golden brown, but I'm hoping to replace them with a really rich/icy blue like mine. Or maybe I'll just make him Lebanese either way. I have some Lebanese friends who have brown eyes.

I am still waiting for my doll but I she looks white. She will be an Olivia Morgan SD16 but I'm hoping for her to have a bit of Chinese in her. She'll probably end up being French/Chinese. I hope she can be Eurasian. Probably a mix of all races in the world but predominantly Caucasion and Asian. I would like her to be French/Australian/Austrian/Belgian/British/Italian/Icelandic/Swedish/German/Hungarian/Irish/Scottish/Polish/Russian/Ukranian/Romanian/Welsh/Indian/Spanish/Egyptian/Chinese/Japanese/Korean.
She will be able to speak all of these languages fluently.
Other than that, I think she'll represents the world's human race as a whole and the ideals of what people consider "perfect" if it even exists... if she even really exists...

 

Humanoid....but definitely alien, especially with those pointed ears...To quote Dr.McCoy..."How can you be deaf, with ears so big?" But her's are cute ones, not quite Vulcan, not quite elf. But all mischief and bedevilment.

Apparently (from my old post) I once thought my Liam was half-Chinese. (He's not, lol)

Liam and his two kids (Fionn and Imogen) are Irish, Malachai and Brennan are angels, technically, but I characterize them as being Israeli. Lucien and his planned twin are French-Canadian Metis, and my planned Helen and Hermione will be Greek.

 

Macabee is British and so is Shaant. Jacoby is a Scottish-American. whenever I get Ainsley, lol, she's full blooded German

I agree there that 'nationality' would've been a better term than race, but I know what the question means so whatever works.

Hmm.. my doll Dieter (whenever he arrives this month) is based on my original character, so he's German through and through.

 

I've given my dolls nationalities because it's a very important part of their background and storyline. In Sun-Goh, their country, there are the Kuro, the black-haired, somewhat Asian looking people, and the Shiro, white-haired artificial humans. Although the Shiro were 'normal', Kuro people before, they now look down on them.

Kiahn is possibly half Shiro, but doesn't really look like one so he's not really sure XD. Falcon is a weird mix of Kuro and some non-Sun-Goh blood, hence his blue eyes. Mitchell is 100% Kuro, and Say is 100% Shiro.

In our world that would make one Asian girl, two half-Asian guys and one Caucasian boy with white hair. I'd like to get a tanned doll someday for my Arabic character Villian.

 

My first (Xi-Aleister, coming in September!!) is a vampire. I know that's not the kind of "race" you meant. He's European (specifically Italian), along with the rest of his coven. I know, I know. Italian vampires are so overdone. BUT! These vamps are special. 8D

I'm also planning to bring home two of my own brainchildren (both thought up before I became a BJD slave, lol)

I'm REALLY wanting some sexy heritage blends, though. Being half Filipino and half Finnish (not really that cleanly divided, but I'll spare you the exact percentages of each nationality I am, lol), I'm pretty into mixed kids. We're hot, we know.

GREEK?! EGYPTIAN?! rofl, sorry. I really really want a tanned boy, but have no excuse...yet.

Hmm, some of my dolls sort of change nationalities depending on what story I'm playing with them. But in general they are Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Russian.

 

From left, heh.. Anastacia is of Russian heritage. Lilia is a woodland faery. Idriel is a forest elf. Tsukiko and Mizuki are Japanese names (beautiful moon and moon child). I call them Japanese, but I'm really not sure if aesthetically they are Japanese. I'm a bad westerner. I emailed a pic to a friend of mine who said she thought it was really cool that they weren't molded like they'd had eyelid surgery. Lastly, Beryl (I haven't picked a name) will be a fawn.
