What RACE are your dolls?

Dhaunnar (Was a Nanu07, now a FL Nanu 08) is (to make this simple XD) from Ireland...His species on the other hand...that...would take too long to explain XD

 

It's funny, but my three Korean dolls have Japanese names and heritage...
And my one Japanese doll has a Korean name & heritage.

... Something's wrong here. XD

 

Most of the dolls I want are either WS or NS. A friend accused me of being racist (jokingly) but I honestly just have an odd attraction to pale scrawny boys lol. Such a strange weakness!

The only characters that I want to get dolls of with a decided/known race are Ian (German) and Pheonix (Irish).

Misha (DoC vamp Ivan) is Russian and Darcy (B&G Sunny) is British. XD Haha, I totally didn't keep with the Asian theme whatsoever...

 

wll...my guys are all non human so:
Spike and Mace-Vampires
Finn, Ligeia and Rel-Elves
Corpse-Demon (I have no idea of what specific race of demon he is, though)
Dorian-Cambion
Billy-Pig (or at least something that looks like one)

Some of them have definite nationalities-
Mace and Spike are from the US, but are of Scots-Irish descent
Finnegan is Irish (or at least identifies most closely as Irish if asked to make such "silly human distinctions" *eyeroll*)
Dorian is...a bit of a mystery. I think the human half of his parentage is Japanese, though I'm not quite sure.
The others really don't identify with races or nationalities as such, mostly because they're not and have never been from the human world.

my boys are all pretty similar race wise

 

Never given much thought into this, but:

I have an ED Lydia (named Holly), and I've always thought her facial features were rather eastern european.

 

I've always thought of the doll I'm saving to get, (Marianne from Bambicrony) as French.

As for my dollfie dream's, I consider them separate from my resins. Because of a dollfie dream's anime appearance, I tend to think of them as anime girls, just like I do with my anime figures. I can't really come to call my anime figures and dolls 'human'.

• Italian is his main langauge though; his family are Italian Royals
• He inherited all his mixed blood from his father's side; as his ancestors has married different races
• His mom is a little complicated... he{yes, his mother is a he XD} is a bit different~

My dolls are all ws/creamy white, which interests me more than standard flesh tones.

DZ Wing, 'Hiroshi Ponyboy' is cream white - nationality unknown (elf)
AoD Rao, 'Chiyoko' as above, nationality japanese
DZ Cat Shoyo, 'Ramona' as above, nationality unknown (cos she's a cat!)
Narae, 'Noah', pinky white (on order), nationality french

I'm hoping to also get another Narae, poss french again or swedish, a tan Yan, japanese and maybe a Unoa (undecided nationality) and Soom Sabik also elf....

 

i don't have any dolls at home yet but of the four characters i have they are currently a human, vampire-elf, elf or faerie-elf and and another elf
you can probably tell they're in a fantasy world, but i've never given any thought to what they would be if they were in 'our' world, like french, british etc.

 

....had not even thought about it as mine just simply...are. No story or history in particular.

Two are cats, one is a wood elf and yet another is half elf/half cat...but there are two humans members of the extended family and while like the others I guess they are all Canadians ~ there is no mistaking that one is asian while the other is as pale as the undead ....except he isn't...but he's not letting on yet about his background.

In fact there is only one that is going to be definitively Japanese and he won't be here till next year...yet all will eventually wear kimono. Three have Finnish names.... and ...yeah beyond Mr. 2009 I have no clue.

 

Evelyn - British (basically - fantasy world with rough cultural analogs)
Katya - Russian (same)
Avdotya - Russian (same)

All are human.

 

Well, Evie (Shiwoo hybrid) is human, specifically she's Canadian, though her family is Italian. When I order Gareth, he'll be Welsh, of course. My Rin, whose name will be Michel, is "other." He's a spirit who takes the form of a human male, Caucasian. Other than that, it's not really specified, since he was never really living.

 

My Ducan Jesse, whom I'm still waiting to be shipped, is 100% Spaniard.

 

hmm I have never given my dolls races... I guess because for me race is so unimportant... I myself am Basque and most people are like"What is that?" so now when people ask me what race I am I just say "Human race"

As for my dolls propbably "Doll race" lol....

 

I don't own any dolls yet, but the characters that they're based on are all of some vague European descent.

I myself am Chinese, so I really don't know if there is a connection there.

Gwenllian - Welsh I speak Welsh to her and everything
Cynthia - English In my mind, Thia comes from Herefordshire because that's where my dad comes from

The Djinn
Alaw Bwrw Glaw - a Welsh Rain Genie (I invented them, it rains almost constantly in Wales, so our djinn cannot possibly be made of fire! Alaw's name means 'pouring rain melody')
Enfys Gwawr - again, another Welsh Rain Genie (Enfys' name means 'dawn rainbow')

The Solitary Demon
Zeelzaroth - Demon. He is Duke of Tartarus, and gets to sit on a chair with arms when he attends the Throne in Pandaemonium
