Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. My dolls are mostly representations of my own characters, so they're from their own world, and were originally mythological creatures or animals. Kha is a sphinx, Empress is a faerie, Remii is a griffin, and Senef is a bull--they have all ended up in a human or human-like form in their story (what brought them together), and that was what I modeled their doll forms after.

      My character doll, Toki, is the only human, and he is from Norway. :)

    2. there's no race in my dolls...just like when i watch an anime....race never occurs to me in a fantasy/another world.just like i like my dolls from varies companies,each with their own facial scrupt and beauty...if there is God,im sure "he" will like to have variety..^^

    3. I never thought to assign any particular genotype to them. They're all pale flesh colored, yellowish or pinkish, and very slim and long limbed. I thought about tan or darker skin tones but for my first dolls, I thought I'd take the easier path. I might pick a fantasy color next time.

      i dont know accually when im imaginin her talking she always talks english
      but thats probably cuz i always talk english on this forum wich is about dolls
      my main language is dutch but to be honest...i dont really like dutch...i like english better so i figure she must be either american or english (or she's from another country but speaks perfectly englishxD)

    6. Sanyu is about 1/4 Indian -as in from India- (which doesn't show much, since she looks like her father.) and 3/4 Japanese.

      As for dollies to be:
      -Gael is 1/2 Japanese (Which doesn't show as she looks like her mother) and 1/2 Indian -as in from India-

    13. I have yet to decide what my doll is... he's a WS BBB Weylin with human ears, so he's definitely not an elf. But I joke about him being a tree spirit in human form because he's named Aspen :XD: Maybe he's just a doll for now... until I learn more about him (I've only had him for a month...)

    16. this is an interesting thread for all the different thoughts about human ethnicities, and what "race" even means!

      i only have 2 human BJDs right now. my offtopic dolls are a huge mix of ethnicities, and i guess my BJDs will be, too, if i get enough of them!

      so... i have 1 cat/people (nekojin???) girl and one pretty much entirely CAT cat in progress of being hybridded. so... one is mixed species (by genetic manipulation, i suppose?) and one is feline.

      and then in humans i have a mestiza (mixed-race, hispanic) girl named Sofía, that's a light-tan BBB isabella.
      and i have another mixed-race person who is a tan DZ Sis head /AF body hybrid and i think she is caribbean (all i know about her so far is that she does reggae music), but there you could have practically any mix of ethnicities.

      i'm getting a Domadoll Human Kkotmu girl and she seems definitely caucasian. i think i would like her to be european, but i have to see what she seems like, after i get her and try different wigs and stuff...

      i'm also getting a darktan BBB An and hope to later get a darktan BBB Espree as well. they may turn out to be black/american people but i am not sure until i see them in "person". if they seem like they come from another ethnicity/culture, well, then i will try to figure that out. there are so many places they could be from with that skintone... parts of practically any continent... so i really have to "meet" them first. i don't know even if they will be siblings or a couple! (i know, that's weird. but i need to get the vibe from the dolls first and see where my imagination goes from there...)

      there's also the "Brother from another planet" possibility, that they could be dark-complexioned extraterrestrials. (check out the play or movie if you don't know the reference: i heard it was a good movie!)
      it seems to me that the Bobobie faces, perhaps because of the way they are nicely stylized, have a lot of multiethnic and even 'otherworldly' possibilities.
