What RACE are your dolls?

...somewhere along the line I plan to have Japanese, Korean, and Filipino [most likely a MNM lol].

 

My kids are based on Characters, so I guess their race would be the character's race XD Rune is a half-elf, half-human irish girl. Sunni, Freoh, and Eth are all sibs...They're daddy was half vampire, so I guess they're vampire-humans? Oriell is a werelion. I never thought about WHERE they were from tho...hmm. food for thought.

 

Well Lestat is a vampire (think he's got a bit of elf in him but he denies it. but those ears are hard to miss!) and i think he's french, though he doesn't speak any french (thankfully @.@ i'd feel like i was back in french class if he started talking to me in french. T.T and i'm no good at french!) But for the most part he just says he's vampire and leaves it at that.

Antebellum will be irish, i think. A little irish water elf. and Charls will be English or Canadian, i'm not sure yet.

Thats all i have planned right now. XD

 

hmm my doll has asian looks so i'm thinking of her as a japanese/korean. Although the character she represents is extraterrestrial :P

 

Jem is 1/2 German and 1/2 Hmong. Explains the blue eyes...and black hair..and why he looks more white than asian? That was made up by me. If you meant where the doll came from...He's from Korea. Oh boy those do not make sense if you put it together. XDD

Kaleb appears to be of an Asian descent, but he's a half-demon half-vampire (In my world, those are very different beings) from another realm.
When I can finally collect his sister, she'll be a full demon appearing to be of an Asian/English combination.

 

I like having different races, makes the world all pretty-like.

Ansell and Alfie's surname is Silviatti, and they are both Irish-Italian Americans. They have very strong features, but their chalk-white skin kinda throws people off. Which would explain Ansell's unique ability to chug down an infinite amount of Captain Morgan. *Irish Pride*

 

Hmmm....Sade comes from a race his creator made up (my sister x3) that i cant say the name of cuz its a secret XD; But besides that he's chinese

 

Hmmm, most of my dolls are elves or faerie, but I have a few humans in the mix.

Ember - dark elf, banished princess. From the dark court.

Evensong - She's half dark elf/half high elf. Ember is her mother. She was raised in the dark court, although she's part of the high court, as well.

Kestrel Summers - She's half-human, half-elf. Evensong is her half sister through their high elf father. Her mother was half-Korean/American, which would make Kess ... ummm ... something like one-quarter Korean, one-quarter American, one-half elf? How's that for confusing?

Lore - Ummm ... he's a bit more difficult. He's human but he was a changeling and raised in the high court as one of Oberon's fighters. He doesn't remember anything about who he used to be, but I'm guessing he's originally of English or Irish decent.

Journey - an elf, one of the high court. No relation to the others.

Piper - another high court elf. She and her twin brother, Thistle, and younger sister Rowan were orphaned, and are currently under Journey's care.

Puck - Sprite, servant of Oberon, a member of the high court.

The Jinxed Cricket - She used to be a cricket, until Ember turned her into a little sprite girl.

Ashley Teagan Turner - probably the most normal of my group. He's a straight-up American human of Irish decent.

 

Well...since Larme is white-skinned...maybe French ^^ he's a normal human being who likes to write books, and tend to flowers :3

 

Kyouya is, as his name betrays, Japanese. Though he is immortal and has long elven ears he is not exactly and elf of the traditional sort. Also I will officially give him his last name when I find the right Kanji 8D.

Kamali Ibn la-Ahad is of a sort of arabian descent, he's part of an ancient desert-based assassin clan. Officially he has no nationality. ^_^;

Victor Allen Luciaros is Brittish with some Italian roots, though that was during his life... As technically he's a vampire now it hardly counts 8D...

 

Elan is a fairy who looks totally human but she talk to me in Chinese. She denies she has some chinese in her, so I assume she pick it up from me but speak fairy-ish (?) when she speaks to herself or her plushies.

I don't consider race to be what country you're from - that's your nationality. Race to me is not about countries and more about genetics i.e. Black, Caucasian, Native Indian, Asian, Far Eastern.

All my dolls are Caucasian. Tigerlily and Ophelia are British and Étoile is French.

I dont know my dolls lineage but he definitely looks eastern european to me, maybe romanian or russian? With a name like Count of Vernejet what else could he/she be??

 

Well, i'm a newbie so I can't speak to my own collection, but I do have quite the long wishlist and three babies on their way. I tend to be attracted to super super super super fair skin on dolls. White skin, or very light NS. I also tend to like european features. It's probably because I'm a big fan of vintage dolls and victorian style dolls as opposed to wanting a particular "race".

Growing up i loved dolls of all colours. I had a black cabbage patch kid, and asian and hispanic barbies, and often i actually preferred them to blonde blue eyed dolls, because those were so ubiquitous and got boring after a while.

With Resin dolls though, i just love the look of white resin. I love the way light plays off of it *shurg*

Vlad is pure-blooded Russian.

Vaughn is his son, and so is 50% Russian, 25% Italian, and probably a little German, Native American, English... Typical American mix after that.

Vivien is probably English.
