Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. My Madoka and my FDQ Shizu (that isn't here yet ;; ) are both Japanese, as will be the Narae 43cm I plan to get.

      I'd say my Cosette is definitely European, but I'm not sure where from. Maybe France? Probably France.

      My L-Bi and Lusis are both German. My Sist is, well... I don't know yet! xD Probably American.

      I'm still unsure of my Unoss, but I also don't really even have a concept for her yet, so we'll see!

    6. I am waiting for my doll but when i get her (I have a bio alll done out for her... since shes based on one of my many chars lol) she is a blood elf and is Japanese... always has been... when i get her i will post the Bio up with her when i post her frist piccy ^_^

      This is mostly because I'm in love with the English Victorian fashion, I dress in it myself; corsets, bustles, laces everywhere, and I like my dolls to look like that too, so the only option I could find would be to be English :3
      I am really looking for a boy I can turn Italian/Venecian, but in a pre-raphelite way, long curly reddish hair, pale freckle-less skin, blue or green eyes and powder blue brocade clothing with white stockings!!! (..I think I'm reading too many Anne Rice novels though XD)

I have one girl who is supposed to be half Japanese, one girl who's full Japanese (even if she doesn't look it...), one boy who's English, one on the way who'll be Irish, and one whose story is set in a sort of fantasy setting, so he's got elf ears. Creating a doll's nationality is one thing I actually really love about doll collecting : )

    10. Translating the ethnicities of my roleplaying fantasy world into plain terms, Yoru is a half drow, half dragon-demon who speaks Japanese(and yeah, I know he doesn't look it right now. ^_^; ) I also have a little Dark Fairy on the way...

      Chinese:

      Aos Sí:
      Rúmil (Including Felix, of course)

      Mutts:
      Adrian (Technically, 100% Aos Sí, but of two different races- His mother being more Elf-like and his father is a descendant of Leannan sídhe, and thus more Vampire-like.. So think of him as Elf/Vampire, but without defying breeding laws?)
      Sebastian (Maori/Lycan)
      Shane (1/2 Japanese, 1/2 Italian)
      Shaun (1/2 Spanish, 1/2 Irish)
      Mayo (..A lot.)

      ..And Ran has yet to tell me exactly what his race is called, but it's something supernatural for sure!

      However, my dolls are also characters, and as such they exist in a world were ethnicity is something that might have a bearing on an individual's life. I have character dolls whose ancestors came from Africa, from North America, from India and Russia and Japan and China, from various places in Europe, I have dolls that were constructed in laboratories and so have no ancestors, I have dolls that aren't human. The majority of my dolls are descended from people from multiple places.

      I don't yet have any planned characters who descend from people in Australia or South America, and I have no dolls from Antarctica (since there aren't a lot of native Antarctic human populations, that at least probably will not change...but you never know).

    20. Well at least with the current one, she's human for the most part but occasionally turns fairy under certain circumstances. I have another character that isn't quite "human" either that I'm waiting on. ^^
