  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. The first bjd that caught my eye is the Limited Edition Dream of Doll Ira. She looked so awesome in her sexy fighting armor. I wanted to buy her then, but her price was so inflated in the secondary market. I decided to wait for a not too overpriced one to appear and one day it did. But I already did not like it enough to pay that price I intended to lol. My tastes kinda changed. I prefer msd and yosd dolls now, so all the more not tempted to buy sd size Ira. Glad I didn't buy her, or I would have one more sd doll to sell off. D:

    2. The first doll I wanted to buy... >< can't recall clearly since it seems so long ago, but I believe it was Tender Shall from dream of doll. Still like that lovely doll very much, but I don't think I will be able to find her anytime soon at all.

    3. It was the Marine Boy limited version of Lio. But since it was made so many years ago there'd be no way I'd ever get it. But luckily there's the basic Lio which I liked just as much, so I went with that instead. I was extremely happy with him!

    4. The first doll I ever wanted to buy was probably a Fairyland Celine-- I've long since changed my mind about that, haha. I'm more of a fan of boy sculpts ^^; But I have a friend who got me into the hobby-- and my pocketbook curses her every day XD

    5. The first Bjd I ever wanted was Luts Chiwoo. Funny thing is I thought it was a girl and I couldn't understand at all which ones were then the boys :doh After days of staring at Luts dolls at that time I decided to go for Senior delf Bliss. Which did disappoint me... Should have gotten that Chiwoo after all :lol:

    8. The first doll that I wanted as a Resinsoul Long. Three dolls later and I still do not own him >_>; I really should just purchase him, I dont really have a reason why I havent. RS dolls are very price friendly, so thats not really a factor, I just, idk, haven't gotten around to it yet. There was also a BlueBlood doll I really loved when I first started looking into buying my first BJD. I do not remember the name of his sculpt, but if I saw his face I would know it was him and if I ever found him Id love to buy him. The reason why I didn't buy the BlueBlood doll was because I saw him on ebay and was afraid to spend that much money for something outside of the US. At the time I didn't have any experience with ordering directly from the company and was afraid it might come broken.

      The doll I did end up buying as my first doll though I am super happy I found. He is an older hybrid doll and I fell in love with him when I saw him. I didn't even bother with the bid war on ebay. I sent a message to the seller for some better photos and a few hours later just dove right in for the "Buy It Now" button.

    9. The first doll I wanted to buy was D.I.M Eunbi, but it was discontinued while I was saving up for my first dolly fund......
      But after a few months, I found out about my grail doll Volks SD Mika and got her immediately without any hesitation :p
      I'm soooo glad I didn't get that first doll~ It is better to look around and chose the favourite!

    10. The first doll I wanted to buy was a Limited edition Elfdoll Twiggy Yumi. However, it quickly sold out and I was never able to find one secondhand. That was quite a few years ago. Now, I am more into mature/realistic looking BJDs, so Yumi wouldn't really fit in with my doll collection. She is very pretty but I don't want her anymore, so it's a good thing I didn't go through the hassle of getting one!

    12. i first knew about bjd when i was 12? 13? very long ago. in that time, only a few company was in the bjd market. of course, i was too young to buy bjd by my own. and it was still young, but i saved for very long time, and got my first doll from dollmore. it was limited version on asha. actually she wasn't the most wanted one but i got her since the price was relatively cheaper than other dolls that i wanted to have. i was so young that i couldn't have enough money to buy other types. however, i really wanted to have one-bjd- so i think i bought her. (i cannot come up with what kind of doll i wanted to buy for the first time. so i wrote about my first doll)


      i'm still having her, but since i got really old from that time so she doesn't look pretty anymore, sadly.

    14. The first doll I fell in love with and is still my ultimate grail doll is Crobi's Yeon-Ho, type B. I LOVE HIM.

      I unfortunately haven't gotten him. Crobi doesn't offer a layaway program and the cost of him is a bit prohibitive with the faceup. I wish I could get him and would gladly jump on it given the chance and if I happened to have the large amount I'd need for him, but without a layaway option I can only dream.

    17. I originally got interested in BJDs quite a few years ago when I was still in highschool (with no job). The first sculpt I fell in love with was Bluefairy's TF Louis that I only ended up noticing when I saw his "Petit Louis" LE set. Still don't own one though. OTL

    20. My first interest was DoD Shall and I went crazy about her. Unfortunately, I ended up not buying her but I don't feel bad at all. I think it was fate and right now, I'm not loving her too much when I see her. Tastes can really change from time to time.
