Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I can't remember the first doll I ever wanted (about eight years ago I fell in love with BJDs, saw the price, then nope'd out until this year XD), but I recently starting looking at dolls again because I found out that a friend of a friend was a collector. I had no intention of buying anything (I was still nope-ing at the price, and I was happy with just a couple of Pullips and MH dolls), but then I saw the Little Rebel sculpts and I had to get a couple. The fact that I'm even properly in the hobby and not just a casual observer is all down to them ^^

    2. Back in 2005, the doll that got me into this hobby, was Volks Toppi, the first edition of her. My style and aesthetic has changed, but that doll will always hold nostalgic value to me!

    3. The first doll that ever caught my attention was the Iplehouse B.I.D. Serca. I still love the sculpt to this day but I'm not purchasing any more dolls for the moment. I don't rule out that she or a male B.I.D. will someday join the family though.

    4. The first doll I wanted to buy was Coloara Mlezzlir from B&G's TOW line. I bought him within a few weeks of seeing him and have only had him about that long. I fell in love with him the moment I saw him.

    6. The first doll that caught my attention was a DOD Ann. Then I realized she would be too big for me and started looking for MSD sized dolls xD
      Now that I know much better the sculpts that are out there, I know she is not my style at all, but I will always remember her like "the one" xD

    8. the first doll ever that i wanted to buy and i was serious about buying would have to be a minifee celine. when i saw her sculpt on instagram it made me fall in LOVE. before seeing celine, i had seen other bjds but wasn't interested in the hobby so when i saw celine. that was when my addiction for this hobby began.

      though, i have to say that my first bjd is not a minifee celine but a minifee liria! Liria is a limited sculpt so i decided that i had to get her before i was unable to do so. but, when i have the money to purchase another bjd, i WILL get celine.

    10. The first doll I wanted was an Iplehouse Evan. He was discontinued when I took a small break from the hobby. After coming back, and getting my first real dolls (I had some ABS tinies, but tinies just aren't my thing and I really only got them to have a doll...), I don't think he would fit with the ideas I have for my dolls. I may change my mind at some point, but for now I don't think I will ever get him.

    11. A Luts Terra, I could never decide on a sleeping faceplate or not though. Something about that peaceful face is just lovely. I also was interesting in Luts Flood for a time, but it's worn off now.

    12. Tei from Crobidoll! When I saw him it was instant love, I was completely decided on him for a while. But since I couldn't afford a BJD at the time, I kept looking around everywhere, and even though the connection wasn't the same instant love, I ended up finding myself drawn in to Karis from Luts somehow, so he's the one I chose as my first doll.
      I definitely have plans to save up for Tei in the future, though :)

    15. The first doll I wanted was the Ran Harajuku. I was doing some research on the internet in 2010 and came across the Volks Japanese site and started to click on the links since I could not read Japanese. And then in about a half hour I came across Ran and fell in love. I knew then I had to have her. I finally adopted her this January. I am glad that I kept up the pursuit it was well worth it.

    18. The first doll i want was Doll Chateau Hubery i thought that his sculpt was really cute and i love the slender body (๑❛uᴗ❛๑). But after i saw a picture of Migidoll Ell i thought i liked him even more because he got such a beatiful sculpt (๑♡∀♡๑).
