Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. The first doll i ever wanted to get was a volks midi msd chloe and i did get her, she was my very first doll and i absolutely love her to the core. She is the princess of my crew and she will always be no matter how many dolls i get she will always hold a special place in my heart for sure

    2. I can't remember if I posted in this thread before, but the first doll that I ever wanted to buy was a Luts Yder. I didn't manage to get him, but I got the later released Elf Yder, which was like a dream come true. :)

    6. Volks School A painted by Venus *something* :aheartbea Lol I keep forgetting the faceup artist (somebody on DoA told me but I forgot it again :doh)
      It was the first doll I saw 10 years ago and I've been loving dolls since.
      Volks anything was so hard to get if you didn't have $$ and I was 18, so the next one I wanted was a Dolkot Kiss. I got turned off from buying from them (even though I have the money now). Dolkot used to have an incredible face-up artist but I don't think he/she is no longer there.

    7. The first doll I wanted to buy was LUTS Verna, but I decided in the end that she didn't suit the character she was going to be and in the end that character turned out to be a short story character since I pretty much revamped the rest of the story entirely including most of the characters. Plus when I went hunting for owner pics I couldn't find any which was something that bothered me then since it was going to be my first doll and I wanted to be sure. Now since I've been looking around so much for so long and own two myself I know what I like.

    9. There were very many dolls I thought I wanted, but the first one I looked at and thought "OMG MUST HAVE!" was Dollshe Ausley Love. Her face is just very beautiful and unique in my opinion. I did end up getting her despite the hefty pricetag for a "first doll" and I regret nothing. She is as stunning in person as she is in owner and company photos.

    10. The first doll I seriously considered buying was an Iplehouse Leona. I just adored her realism, beauty, and happy expression. By the time I could actually afford to join the hobby though, my tastes had changed, and I now like a somewhat more stylized look. I still really like Leona, but I doubt I would buy her given the chance.

      I've come upon my three dolls one way or another, but the only doll that I was like screaming-desire-need so far is a Supiadoll Ariel ;u; not that I don't love the other three, but I certainly didn't feel the fervent passion as I did upon laying eyes on Ariel LOL

    13. I think the first one I ever really wanted was a Leekeworld Lionel, because I thought he looked a lot like one of my characters. I wasn't in a position to get him at the time and they don't make him any more so I don't think I'll ever get him now. In the end my first doll that I both really wanted and could afford is my Iplehouse Chase (who also looks like one of my characters), and I adore him. :D So glad he was my first doll in hindsight.

    15. Wow, it was so long ago that I actually have no idea. I'm reasonably sure it was a Volks doll, though. I remember stalking their USA website way, way back in the day. I never did get any of the molds I was interested in.

    20. The first ones I saw were Pukifee and Pukipuki, both of which I loved immediately. They have so many lovely face options.

      Unfortunately, this was also way before I was ready for BJD prices, and I got scared away by them (especially since I didn't understand yet the difference between the basic dolls and the fullsets).

      The first doll I wanted enough to want to spam the "Add to Cart" button was Soom Teenie Gem Han/Asronn, which I did in fact buy. I love my resin-baby.
