1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What was the first doll you wanted to buy?

Jul 3, 2014

    1. The first doll I ever wanted to buy was an angell-studio Xi-Shi, but I guess my tastes have shifted a bit towards MSD's!

    2. I discovered BJDs in 2013. The first Mold i ever seen were SOOMS Feny & Necy and i wanna Buy them, but they were alredy sold out u v u
Now, 3 Years later, they are mine <3

    3. Fairyline Rendia's full set nearly brought me to tears when I first saw it. It's so so beautiful. But right now I can't afford that. I just bought my first doll

    4. The first doll I ever wanted to buy was Dollzone Morphoa. I begged my mom for a long time but as she was expensive and I was quite young and didn't know anything about BJD's, I never got her. She didn't end up being my first doll, HOWEVER I did eventually buy her, and I still have her and she's still one of my favorites. Have always loved her design, and pretty much everything about her. If I had to do it over, I'd buy her sooner. And probably get another since she was discontinued.

    5. When I became interested in the BJD boys I wanted to buy Akando from Ipelhouse so many times but I kept stopping myself. I had a bjd already that was traded to me but he was too child like for me.... After I sold him I saw a Haute Doll magazine that had a bjd article about the boys & David K from Dollshe was featured & I knew right away he was the one!!!

    6. I might be repeating but i just need to share my feelings on topic -_-

I wanted Ringdoll Vincent so badly but it was quite easy to understand that he was long time sold out to the moment i even got to know about his existence.

I googled to see where and how Vincents live and sadly realized that people are not especially fond of them.
Someone didn't like the head at all.
Some people (not one and even not two) responded negatively at his makeup and said that they cleaned his face as fast as they could.
I know it's their dolls, and they have a right to do what they want as respectful owners, but i needed to share emotions here, weeee ;_; because it is always sad when you can't have something you really want, and those who own it don't appreciate it
Vincent could be perfect Reinke (the character created by my sister who never knew about Vince until i told her that her sketch of Reinke design was incredibly alike him). But i doubt i will ever find Vincent head with make up for sale.

    7. Miracle Doll Jing! Such a cool sculpt, and the sculpt that really got me interested in BJDs. He's still on my wishlist, but I don't have the money for him... One day!

    8. Dream of Doll Shall. She was so pretty! Still one of my favorites, though I've never owned her. My tastes shifted to more realistic, but I still think she's stunning.

    9. I looked him up and I gotta say I agree with you. His default faceup is so great!

    10. He was Lahoo from Dream of Dolls (DoT). And I still want him (two times, because of twin characters).

    11. nice to hear someone here who is agree about that) thank you

    12. I don't remember the very first, but I have old tweets showing that I really liked the Senior Delf JUDE doll back in 2011 (I was still in my "very interested in BJDs but not willing to take the plunge yet" phase at the time)! I got as far as selecting options for him and putting him in my cart before I X'ed out of the page, haha. I'm glad I didn't go for him back then because my aesthetic taste changed pretty drastically after 2013... It's since stabilized so I feel a lot safer with my tastes now because they're far less likely to change. I hope, anyway!

    13. I wanted a PeaksWoods vampire YoSD. A friend of mine got one and I fell in love lol I still don't own one, my first bjd ended up being an MSD, but I definitely will add one to my collection in the future.

    14. switch rusi

    15. I been eyeing BJD for about 8 years before I officially decided I want to buy one. She was a Volk Miku. I found out about her a little too late and I can no longer buy her (for a decent price anyway). I had a chance to buy the Snow Miku version and lost my chance because I was debating if I should buy her or not.... sorta regret it now. Maybe if I get a 3rd chance I will!

    16. The first doll I ever wanted to buy was a LUTS Honey Delf Madeline. I did not end up getting her, but I will some day. I am hoping a second hand deal will pop up some day, but I will have to be patient until then...

    17. The one I really wanted was a Volks Tae II. Although Tae has been offered again, and I've come across her in the Marketplace a few times, I later decided to go with MSD-sized dolls instead, and I've never gotten her. But I still think Tae is one of Volks' prettiest molds.

    18. The first doll I wanted was Roger from Iplehouse and I just got his head when he was on sale. I was ssuper lucky to have the money at that time, I would've been so sad if I would've had missed him. Then again I do not check any sites which have limited dolls so I do not have to be sad whenever I can not afford a doll I want from that site lol.

    19. Dollzone Carter! when i saw him i was positive i would have him one day, and of course he is still on my wishlist ☺

    20. The first doll I ever wanted to buy was a minifee chloe, because that was the first bjd sculpt that I saw way back then. I saw her stock photos and thought she was gorgeous!
