  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. The first bjd I ever wanted to buy was a Minifee Chloe. For a variety of reasons, I feel that I'm not particularly interested in her any more, but weirdly she's really the first doll to get me seriously interested in the hobby to begin with.

    2. DollinMind's Half-Closed eyed Kassia was the first doll that I wanted but because she was an SD, it put me off getting her. I don't mind SDs anymore but there are alot more sculpts that interest me more than her now.

    3. For me it would have to be either a Volks anime doll that I don't remember the sculpt of or a SmartDoll. But I could never afford any of those. Although I did order a Luts Betty and she kinda looks like a Volks anime doll.

    5. The first doll I ever wanted was a Volks Suiseiseki. She is still my ultimate grail doll. There has never been another doll that I've been so in love with, and despite my constantly changing taste in dolls, I still find her to have the best face mold I've ever seen.
      I've probably only seen 3-4 for sale in the secondhand market since 2010 and they range from 1500-2000 (mostly around 1800). I know I'll probably never get her

    6. I started looking at dolls on Pinterest, so I don't actually remember the first one I saw. But definetly Fairyland was the one I ran across the most, and it's the first one I did order (I went with a Mirwen sculpt head thou, I don't actually think the Chloe sculpt works with any of my OCs)

    7. The first one that almost got my wallet open was RSdoll's Evan, but he was already discontinued when I first saw him. He got a renewal ver later on but the company promo pics were really different from the prototype so I ended up not getting him. Though I still hope to find other owner pics in the future to see the final product without any faceup. Might reconsider getting him if other owner pics look alright :3nodding:

    10. First one ever; I don't recall the name of either the company or sculpt. It was a few years before I actually considered joining the hobby; I'd got looking at something online and somehow stumbled on to this site of BJDs. I'm sure that's what they were. I really don't recall much, but I'm sure I came across BJDs, and they had this gorgeous boy. Probably about MSD to SD size; I didn't look for long.

      As for once I got into the hobby, a Dollzone Mo. I nearly bought one, too, before switching to the Ringdoll Sol presently sat alongside me. Looking back at the Mo for the first time in a few years, I'm kind of glad I went with Sol.

    14. Iplehouse Ryushin. I saw one on deviantArt and googled the company, then nearly keeled over from sticker shock. I never was able to get one before they discontinued the original YID line. If I found one for a good price secondhand... I might go for it. I still love the sculpt.

    15. Souldoll Chiron. I was looking around for my first doll and you know the cliche about people saying they fell in love with a doll at first sight, well it happened to me when I first saw him. He was the one I really wanted to bring home then but I kinda balked at the price (well, since I was a noob and all and wasn't sure if I'd be in the hobby for the long haul) so I ended up getting a smaller mini, a DOD Homme Ivan, which I loved too. I did end up getting Chiron afterwards because even after getting a few more (smaller) dolls he was still the one I wanted. Both my first doll and first (dolly) love are still with me even now. I regret nothing LOL. :blush

    16. When I was on the hunt for my very first doll, the one that caught my attention was Soom's Wolf the Knight. I remember being incredibly upset he was limited since he was perfect, and I wanted him more than anything. Now that I own him I feel awful because I can't find a suitable character for him... still love him to pieces though.

    19. first doll i ever really fell in love with was ringdoll misha <3 i've found that dolls larger than MSD size aren't really my thing but i still go back and stare at him sometimes! maybe one day when i have the money and the space he'll be mine...
