  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. When I first found out about ball-jointed dolls in 2006, it was Volks Emma. The ski jump nose and that little smile like a Renaissance painting! I still think it’s a lovely sculpt.

    6. Volks Isao Nanjou. He was also the first BJD I'd never seen (a photo of). I'd actually considered buying him back then though I'd only started working and he would have cost almost a month's salary for me... :sweat

      My tastes have changed since, so even though he goes for quite cheap now secondhand, I no longer have the urge to get him.

    19. I'm absolutely entranced by Vittoria from SartoriaJ... love her strong features, she's striking. Wish I'd gotten into the hobby earlier to have gotten a shot at ordering her! Here's to hoping for another release down the line.

      Following that, I love Minifee Miwa's tongue sticking out -- makes her such a lively doll!

    20. The first ever face mold I fell in love with must be DoD Homme Ducan, because finding his picture accidentally on Google in 2008 made me do more research on BJDs. I have never owned this mold, but he was the first BJD that made me curious about the hobby.
