What was Your first Doll?

My first doll was ResinSoul Li in normal skin and she came with blue eyes and a face up

 

Mine was a Dollzone Normal Yellowskin Helen with a face up by a friend. (I bought the head new and bought the body second hand but almost new from the friend who gave the face up.) She's still stunning.

 

My first doll was a full set yellow xuanyan from only doll. She came with blue eyes and aside from that little making on her face was very beautiful.(The mark looked like some kid got ahold of acrylics and just smacked it on) I normally cover that with hair but it's time I redid her faceup and re-string her. She stands but not well. I never suede my dolls and they seem to all stand fine. But they are all msd or smaller.

I'm all mistyeyed just thinking about it! My first doll was a Unoa 1.0 that I loved very much but due to circumstances, I had to sell. I sold her to a member of DoA who I found out has passed away. I still sometimes wonder what happened to that doll even if she's no longer mine, hope she is loved somewhere.
Getting back into the hobby after so long, I still am crazy about the Unoas! I don't think I'll ever own another 1.0, but I'd love a Chibi or two.

 

A hybrid, a Dollshe Ausley Love with a Dollstown 18yr old body.
Her body has been on her way to me since last week, I'm sure the head will be on it's way soon.

 

My first doll was Doll Family-H Xiang Yi! That time I was really new about BJD, so I didn't know how to order them directly from company or how to do with tax, face up etc... I ordered him from a German intermediate dealer (just few companies to choose) and let them help me do custom face up. But I really have no regret to get him! He is much more gorgeous than I thought! And I will never sell him or part from him neither.

 

My first doll is my Luts Senior Delf Odin, named Promisiuth Odin Thirandier(he's my only doll who has his sculpt as part of his name).
I was introduced to BJDs by an online friend who had just gotten her first doll(Luts Mill) and when I asked where she had obtained such an amazing and beautiful contraption she directed me to the Luts website. I was browsing and thinking the prices were too much for me to spend on a doll until I began looking at the Senior Delfs and found Odin... I spent about a month and a half researching and swooning over his order page and I must have filled out the form about five different times before I finally worked up the nerve to hit the 'submit' button >w< I regret nothing! He's had about three different faceups since I got him four years ago and has gone through many outfit changes(he's currently in armor, he started as a gypsy prince), but his eyes and hair remained the same for the longest time(I tried to buy him a new wig but it went to Giorges, so that's still the same, but his eyes have finally been replaced with a lighter and more luminous green so they can catch the light under his droopy lashes).
I still love him to pieces~

 

My first (and only) doll was my Resinsoul Ya. Adorable girl and will always be my favorite

 

ahh my first doll... seems like so long ago lol. My first was my Angell Studio Lucifer i actually saw him on ebay, i was introduced to bjd by my friend who had purchased hers through Doll Love. I was not comfortable purchasing on ebay after i did some research on bjds.. so i eventually ordered him directly through angell studio who helped me through the process of ordering and even offered layaway i was excited because i wasn't sure i wanted to get started in the hobby because of the expense but the layaway lessened the blow and i jumped right in

 

My first BJD was a Rolly LTF and now have added a Bisou girl and most recently purchased a bjd pet for the girls!

My first doll was a IH JID Asa in peachgold skin tone with default face up.

 

I'm waiting on my first now (since the company he's from is having a bit of a back-log at the moment cries). He is a Dollzone Ro in Normal Pink Skin, and I got him blank with no faceup.

 

My first doll was a Luts Junior Delf Terra. I bought his head on a french forum and hybrid him with a Bobobie body so that he could be cheaper. I got him blank, and a friend made him his first face-up for free. I've waited him for about a week, that's it, and then he was home ! That was pretty magical xD

 

I pre-ordered one doll but while I was waiting I found a different doll in stock and he arrived first. He was a JieDoll Rock Star Altair. He was so beautiful. I got to know in the ins and outs of tightening elastic and posing, but when my first doll(my love) arrived he definitely took over all my attention. I sold the Altair after having him for a little over a year.

 

My first was Aaron by Dollzone from mintoncard. He had a few things about him that were defective, but I was excited to have him in my hands so they didn't matter to me.
I mainly bought him because he was beautiful, and in stock. So i wouldn't have to wait for him.

I love and appreciate him so much more now that I have him.

 

Luts KDF Bory! I had him for almost two years, but sold him when I realized child dolls are really not my thing. :/

 

My first doll was a Delf Moon. I still have the heads but the body was sold long ago.

 

My first doll was a 27cm Angel of Doll AiAi, without a face up. I bought him because I was initially afraid to spend hundreds of dollars on a doll and he came at an extremely good price. I wasn't afraid of breaking him. I fiddled around with him for about a year (re-stringing, face-ups, etc.), got comfortable with the idea of expensive dolls, and then sold him. I still have fond memories of that doll, but it was never one that I intended to keep.
