It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     8. My first doll was (is) a DollsTown Seola 7. She has something of a history - I first saw her on a friend's blog and fell in love with her. At the time, she was probably about six or seven years old and had arrived secondhand from a large doll collection. About a year later, my friend decided to downsize her collection - and Fawn was one of the ones up for sale. I was lucky enough to bring her home. Up until I opened her shipping box, I hadn't even seen a BJD in real life - and she was even more gorgeous than I'd imagined. Like all of the older DT dolls, she's a quirky poser - she doesn't stand well without her crutches, but she poses like a dream. (Can you tell I just adore her? She's a forever doll.) :)

    9. My first doll is an April Story Raven, named Kyu-Sam or Sammy. I believe his sculpt is now forever unavailable (unless the company brings it back or sold the sculpt to another company, not sure about that!). I got him in May of 2014.

      I'd been eying various dolls for many years before this, but I had avoided buying any for price tag reasons. What propelled me into purchasing Sammy was that April Story was going to be changing, and all of their current dolls were marked down before being forever unavailable. Instead of the 600 something he was normally worth, he had been marked down almost by half. I had to act quickly though since I found out about the sale only a few days before the sculpts would be gone forever (my GF and I had plans for this sculpt and another from April Story, so we were freaking out at the time about losing the sculpts). So it was a little sudden how I went from merely being an admirer of BJDs to suddenly owning one.

    10. My first BJD was, and still is, my Luts CP Delf Chiwoo (the boy in my icon picture).

      My first choice would have been the Elf Shiwoo but he was already sold out by the time I discovered BJD's and I haven't regretted getting Chiwoo instead - although I foolishly imagined he would be the only one.

    20. My first doll was a Cerberus Project Lishe in white resin with a default face up which I bought via a dealer in Korea. This was before Luts had a site and the only way to order at that time was through a dealer! I even paid by bank wire as paypal wasn't an option.
