Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. In a way there were two. The one that got his plane ticket paid for first and then a couple months later I stumble across this other little guy at the local MP and get him home on a whim. The one that got his plane ticket paid for first is a DOD DOT Homme Ducan and he still resides with us to this day and he wont ever leave. The other little guy was a DOD DOC Too and he's no longer with us. His character grew up and I found no new inspiration looking at him so decided to let him go. Recently I have considered getting him home again, though in the tender version instead.

    3. My first was Bluefairy TF May in 2008. I graduated high school and with my friend and sister we rewarded ourselves by getting our first bjds. We each ordered a Bluefairy girl: May, Emilie, and Sarang.

      May was very sweet, I got her a beautiful face-up by my favorite Finnish artist jesmoth, and my friend made her a super cute outfit. I didn't really do the research and I only knew a couple of companies back then. Yet I was happy with her for a while, although I soon realized I didn't really care that much for child dolls. I sold her this year and I do not regret it, even though I at first thought it was a little sad to sell the first doll.

    5. A Luts Delf Yder to be my Harry Potter. I still own him, and still think he's utterly perfect, even if I don't take him out all the time anymore. Now saying that, I think I'm going to go do a photoshoot or two with him....:3nodding:

I was looking through to see if I had posted here yet (I seem to remember doing that but it must have just been a similar thread...) and I just had to let you know that your videos played a roll in my decision to buy my RS Long/Gang hybrid (who got home this past Christmas Eve!).     13. Bluefairy Tiny Fairy Emilie was my first doll ~ I fell really in love with her face sculpt and serene expression. I'm planning to get her a new body, because hers was only single-jointed, but I still just love her face. I want to get one in baked skin someday if I can, she is such a lovely sculpt >w< as far as ordering her, I looked around quite a lot and checked all the different BF dealers. I ended up going with LUTS because of their great customer service reviews. She shipped within a month (with a face-up too!), the service from both LUTS and BF was great.

    14. My first doll was a Doll Love May that I named Saoirse, and I bought her secondhand. The girl who sold her to me was super sweet and gave me an outfit, extra wigs and even put her eyes in for me. I am kinda mildly on the lookout for a different body for her, as her current body isn't as mature or curvy as I usually like. Haven't found the right one to replace it yet though so for now she'll stay my little flat chested angel lol.

    20. Hi everyone! Sorry if there is another thread like this, I couldn't find anything with a quick browsing so decided I would ask.

      What was the first doll you purchased or received that made you interested in the doll hobby?

      My first doll as a collector/hobbyist was a MIO Pullip kit. I bought one because I had always been interested in the fashion doll/BJD hobby but was scared to spend a bunch of money on something that I potentially wouldn't become that interested in. As I grew to enjoy doing face ups and taking pictures of my dolls more, my doll family quickly expanded to more expensive dolls including SD and more.
