1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What would be the holy grail outfit for your doll?

Jul 16, 2018

    1. They'd all have to be custom made.

For the SD-sized family of Victorian children it would be full Sunday-best outfits from the skin out - period correct underwear, stockings, shoes, clothes, coats, and hats etc. for each of them. Same for the 1920's girls. For the Narsha and UnoaChibi sized gang, it would be pretty similar but more classic/timeless chidren's clothig styles (very few of my dolls are dressed in modern styles).

For most of the boys it would be properly fitted trousers that have waistbands around the actual waist instead of the awful low-slung things that are currently all that seems to be available for BJDs (or for full sized people for that matter!)

    2. My ultimate grail outfits is the wedding set from Angell-Studio that was released so many years ago (2012)! I wasn't into SD-sized dolls back then but now that I do have my beloved couple, this is the set I would want for their wedding day. <3

    3. The Freedom Teller Maestro outfit. Good tuxedos are so hard to come by! I'm kicking myself for missing its rerelease this year...

    4. I really wanted a Dollheart Fer and ended up getting one limited full-length set and then an Evolution (shorter) version. Very good clothing purchases, they look good on everyone they fit. HG outfits would be historical clothing for everyone, and then each doll’s circus/performance outfit, self-made. I need to plan them out and make it happen!

    5. The one doll outfit that is like my grail outfit is souldol's Qtd-Z

Just the colours, fine work and how it has this look like it came from the fairytale beauty and the beast(not the disney version) from my favorite fairytale illistrator made me fall in love witht the outfit.
Sadly at the time I did not have the money for it, and well now it's sold out for ever.
I would seriously be extatic if I found one second hand, since it would finish my look for cerberus completly.
Now he has an uninspirational shirt and pants, and it just doesnt fit his character but can't seem to find any other outfit for him that would come close to the souldoll one t.t

    6. I love the Renaissance dresses on Antique Lilac's website, but my sewing skill level is not up there and may never be.

I have seen some really cool armour and fantasy styles but they seem to go with a specific doll; which of course makes sense.

    7. Ok, in fear of totally sounding old school...a Dollheart Fer. :sweat

I loved them when they were uber popular when I started the bjd hobby. But I don't dress my guys in dresses, so I never had a need for one. But that didn't stop me from obsessing over them (much like everyone else did.)

I guess that it never really wore off.

However, a guy fer would be great. I could imagine a frilled top, cape and some skinny pants. :kitty2
