1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What's the most you have spent on an bjd outfit?

Sep 7, 2009

    1. Just over $200 for a commissioned leather jacket, shirt, and pants for my Mecha Angel. He looks soooo good in it though! :)

    2. $220 for a kimono set from Volks which has got everything except for geta sandals.

    3. Around $120 for an outfit, minus shoes.

    4. Hmm, including shipping and taxes I would say approximately $110 USD.

    5. Not very much. Just $51 for a Dollmore school uniform set. :sweat

    6. Including the shoes mind, my most expensive outfit was a Heisejinyao Ziulinglong outfit at $220 ($120 for the outfit, $80 for the matching shoes, $20 for the shipping).
Couldn't put a price on what the most expensive was total for everything including eyes/hair/accessories however, I haven't even thought to count

    7. Probably 200.00.

    8. It would have to be just the shoes I plan to purchase, which cost about $25-$30. XD I actually plan to make all of my dolls clothes, since I have TONS of scraps and already know how to sew cosplays. Saves money and also lets me be more creative with my doll.

    9. $255 for outfit, shoes & a wig from Marbled Halls...and worth every penny!!!

    10. For an outfit I bought, not including shoes - $180.
For an outfit I've made (which I am still making x.x) - $200+ in materials alone.

    11. When I get my doll, I think her dress is $12, and her shoes are $9 - as she's my first doll, I'd rather start her off with a basic outfit that encompasses a top and bottom (a dress), and one pair of shoes. Plus, the dress is a light, baby pink, and the shoes are white, so I don't have to worry about stains first time round!

But I still have something like 8 Mr. Clean magic erasers.

    12. The most i've spent on an outfit is around £90.00 ($130 approx). Its an outfit made by Volks that my Dollfie Dream Dynamite wears and in my opinion it was well worth the investment. She looks great in it and as it was made specifically for the DDY, fits her perfectly. Her overall "look" cost more than that though as shoes weren't included so I had to buy them seperately and then of course there was the wig and anti-stain body suit that I purchased as well.

    13. The most I spent is $60 for a leather jacket and military style boots for my girl to match her camo pants.

    14. $108 for Little Monica's Mystic Love set! It sold out on the English site, and when I asked about restocking it they told me no, it wouldn't be restocked, but there was one left from their Korean site's stock and they moved it over for me! So I snatched the last one up right away! That was months ago, before even ordering the doll, and now the girl it's for should arrive any day now :3nodding:

    15. The most I have spent on one outfit so far is £100 including the shoes. Really happy with the results though.

    16. Looking at all the others I feel ever so slightly lame, but the most I've spent on one outfit was about $80. Which is heaps for me, but I don't really need expensive outfits.

    17. When I last commented on this thread back in 2009 (2nd page) the most I had ever spent on an outfit was $120. Since then, the most I have ever spent on an outfit was $750. Quite a huge difference over the years, haha. I'm a sucker for La Petite Madeleine dresses and have a good handful of them, so there is where my money goes.

    18. The priceless worth of blood, sweat, tears, and accidentally stabbing your fingers with a needle/pin a few times >3>
(give or take the price of fabric scraps and remnants)

Okay okay the one thing I bought that wasn't already included with the doll was that I got a dress for an extra $32 with my DM Luppy.

    19. Around $200 I think, several times on several different outfits.

    20. Approx. $120 on an outfit by Hello Miss J. It included about five different peices minus shoes, and if I count those too then it'd be close to $150 in total.
