1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Whats the worst thing that happened during a doll photoshoot?

Nov 24, 2022

    1. Oh gosh I’ve had a few bad moments. Faces falling right into concrete, wigs flying off into grass etc.
But the last bad experience I had was taking my Dollfie dream Miku to the beach in her deep sea girl outfit and underestimating the waves…
She fell right into the water and her wig and clothes were soaked. Luckily her faceup was alright, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if anything happened to her face

    2. I may have posted this in another thread before, but I was taking photos on the remnants of an old concrete bridge once and almost lost a doll. This bridge sat in the middle of a rather fast moving river, which was about 10+ feet below. In the middle of the photoshoot, my Luts SDF65 Bory's knee gave out, and he tipped toward the water. I managed to save him, but in doing so I dropped my very expensive camera onto the concrete. Luckily both were okay, but it was almost an absolute disaster.

Somewhere out there is a picture that the camera took when I dropped it, of both my hands madly reaching for the doll.

    3. It was very odd. Our local crows are far too used to humans. Now I only take heads out, to paint in fresh air. And shade, of course.
