1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I chose grunge/punk because that's the style I enjoy making/buying most, and it's what a couple of my favorite dolls wear, but I also have dolls in casual, sporty, goth, pin-up and others. Mostly, I just like casual, comfortable clothing because my characters are modern characters.

My least favorite would have to be anything historical and/or super frilly or childish. I know they take a lot of work to make, and are very detailed, but it's just not my thing. I've never had an interest in history, so historically dressed dolls don't interest me much, and a lot of the frilly childish ones remind me of porcelain dolls I had as a kid, also not something that interests me in the least now. So, I'm just going to say that while I can definitely understand the appeal as far as skill and detail required, and have seen some very impressive dolls in these styles, it's not something I want for my own.

    2. Pretty much all of the options here are modern clothing styles, so I chose Other. My favourite style for dressing my dolls is basically fantasy couture - high fantasy meets high fashion. I also like straight up historical and sort of distressed post-apocalyptic styles. The least appealing type of clothing to me is the fashion doll type - like trendy separates and ballgowns. They're not really "different" enough to appeal to me, and they don't suit the characters I have for my dolls.

    3. My dolls dress up like princesses and wear pastel clothes:whee:But not like fairy kei. :sweat

    4. A mix of superhero, medieval, elvish, and everyday clothes. Nothing frilly, they just don't like that.

So I choose "other" in the chart.

    5. I personally like "street fashion" kinda styles, colorful and a little bit cluttered but definitely "modern". U.S./western fashions are just as inspiring as eastern ones and I just sort of take what I like from both and make it work for my dolls (and myself tbh, most of the outfits I put together for my dolls are things I would wear as well because I see them as an extension of my own personal aesthetics). Frilly lolita looks are really cute and exciting to look at too! I feel like they're the most "BJD" fashion aesthetic and I really love the old school vibe. Honestly any kind of look with lots of layers and different textures is really appealing to me.

    6. It's up to each of the dolls. But I do love something elegant likes suit or shirt from freedom teller.

    7. Never though i prefereed a particular doll style, but looking at my dolls now... I guess I like formal stylish wear. (ball gowns, fancy frilled dresses etc :) )

    8. I really love Mori Kei and fashionably casual clothes. Those are the two styles I aim for when I'm shopping for doll clothes. I dress them the way I'd like to dress, that's for sure!

    9. I think pastel fairy kei or lolita or anime-like style is incredibly cute. Sometimes I even design clothes like these myself, it's really fun xD

    10. Preppy, and lolita. :) <3

    11. One is currently pretty gothic/semi victorian, the other well, whatever I put her in XD but I plan when I get my other dolls, to put them in the sorcerer robes the ocs they'll become wear :3

    12. High school style

    13. Generally I like gothic, Victorian style. But it depends on each particular doll. Also I like carnival dresses and magic clothes.

    14. All of my dolls wear classic lolita fashion style.

    15. 10 different girls with mostly different styles. Health goth, modern/casual, preppy, mori-esque (I simply say she dresses like a librarian  )... among a few others. Makes dressing them kind of difficult, though.

    16. At first I was not sure what type of style I wanted for my girls but today I want them all to wear mori clothes :)

    17. Depends but always cute or Victorian or fantasy style <3 . <3

    18. I'm going for indie/grunge with my boy Pip and I'm hoping it works for him! For Soren I think I want her to be Mori style and similar for her brother! All my other planned dolls are grunge too which I think is a reflection of me lol xD

    19. It is a bit hard for me to narrow it down to a single style. I like modern and stylish, but also elegant and fancy. My dolls are just dressed in whatever I find attractive. :3nodding:

    20. A lot of Mori girl gothic gothic lolita, some casual, and odds and ends! I really want MORE dolls in Fairy Kei but only have a couple like that now. I also have a lot of weird sizes so finding things they fit in is a toss up. I have some Victorian styled one- my Rosette School of Doll girls are steampunk/Victorian and some are NAKED because nothing I have fits them :( I FINALLY found a vintage doll outfit that my Nefer Kane Iracebeth fits in! So I was really happy! Exactly what vintage doll it's off of I don't know...
