1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Sort of an emo mixed with kawaii style? If that makes any sense.

    2. Casual, gothic, fantasy.

    3. Drew: "I have no fashion sense and no clue what I'm doing but I like these colors and this is really comfortable" aka the "Ooh look this shirt is on sale"

    4. My first doll is still on pre-order, but considering that I bought him because he's a licensed doll from a Chinese xianxia novel/animated show... I definitely have a thing for hanfu/ancient Chinese costumes. So I expect any future dolls I get will have a lot of those in their wardrobes too...

    5. It depends on my dolls. My 1/3 dolls are all fantasy, long gowns, medieval inspired outfits with the guys in fantasy princely style. My 1/4 ones wear fashionable & casual clothes often with a quirky twist. The boys are jeans & fancy shirt types. As for my Little Fees & friends, they wear everything from Lolita to play clothes to cute dresses. Lots of tulle skirts often with a sweatshirt top & striped stockings. I have lots of fun playing with their clothes.

    6. both of my dolls have very different styles! one of them has a traditional japanese style, while the other wears kind of hipster street clothes. i do prefer dressing my more casual doll because it is easy and fun! plus his clothes are cheaper and easier to find! i do think that dressing a doll in kimono and hakama is a really fun challenge because it requires a lot of patience and research to get it looking right!

    7. Australian style hi-visibility uniform!

    8. I've recently gotten a floating head which (if it's able to share Jade's Elva16 body) I plan to style it in the Y2K holo-grunge revival style that's been so trendy this year (you know, all that the pearly iridescent stuff that's now marketed as 'unicorn'-this or 'mermaid'-that). That aesthetic gives me major grade-school nostalgia. XD

    9. My dolls wear a variety of clothes: modern, fantasy, lolita, and Disney collectible outfits! The doll that travels with me wears modern fashion since they're easy to mix-and-match on-the-go.

    10. My Narae will eventually be a cyberpunk mori - I'm still trying to figure out what that entails. Right now, she just has some cute modern clothes that border on mori.

I have Jade and Alfanzo on order from Ringdoll and I don't anticipate changing their fashion styles, which are traditional for their mythical types.

    11. I can't believe it's been so long since my first post on this thread. Misty, my RS Mei, was supposed to be somewhat whimsical in style at first. Then it kind of evolved into sexy lolita but when it came right down to it, her style ended up being 'plain old American...' Yeah... Girly but not too frilly and showing as much skin as she can possibly get away with.

I have since brought another person into my home. A visual Kei Star named Akio Riordan. Understandably, he wears the Visual Kei style, but really takes after Kamijo, the lead singer of Versailles.

I have at least 4 more dolls planned. One with no style as of yet. One is a guy who will probably be wearing punk/gothic female clothing. And the twins will probably be basic casual wear unless they say something different when I eventually bring them home.

    12. My dolls wear Victorian style dresses and Lolita dresses. I'd like to dress them up as princesses.

    13. A mix between casual and lolita style haha

    14. I don't own a bjd yet, but I'm planning to dress her casual and street style. On special occasions, however, I'll dress her in a fancy gown or dress!
Also since I'm into aesthetic fashion maybe my doll will too!

    15. He's a gentleman wearing 1940s sytle. =)

    16. It's very doll specific and I have a lot of dolls so that would be a lot to cover, but I'll explain three of them.

Minerva, my Impldoll Aurora, has a witchy aesthetic. Rings, occult t-shirts, black fishnets, leather jacket, the like. I need to find/make her a little wide-brimmed hat because that'd go along with it swimmingly.

Hector, my Spiritdoll Celtis, is basically casual hipster with a Texan flair. He likes beanies, deep v-necks, skinny jeans, and cowboy boots.

Vivica, my Dreaming Doll Airi, wears a lot of soft colors and floral prints. She likes comfortable, but feminine clothing.

    17. Maybe my dolls are Lolita style.

    18. All my dolls have fantasy/medieval-style clothing. Mostly just because that's something that I like, but (understandably) couldn't/wouldn't wear in public.

    19. Still looking for my own. And it's not modern casual, definitely. Maybe some historical from 19th or early 20th century.

    20. Casual, gothic, fairy key... a lot of. I have many outfits.
