    1. My dolls wear casual clothing like denim and shirts. But I buy aristocratic european costumes and kimonos just for photo shoots :D

    2. They all have a vaguely ornate/fantasy style, but each doll has their unique taste, and an associated color. Clothes are one of my favorite parts of this hobby.

Violette (pink and white)- super girly. Lots of lace, pink, jewels, and flowers
Aveline (gold and black)- tomboy, rarely wears skirts of dresses. Nice suit or shorts and a button down
Iris (dark purple)- dark romantic style, gothic lolita sometimes
Evelyn (blue and white)- elegant and chic
Keanan (black and teal)- dark but soft, lots of ruffly, flowy things
David (black and green)- casual/punk with leather and skulls most of the time, but also owns a nice suit (with skulls on it)
Henry (red and white)- classy but military-ish, think old fashioned dress uniform
Victor - the newest doll, doesn't have a really defined style yet, but definitely on the formal side.

Of course, I don't always stick to these, especially the color schemes, but it's an idea of what they all like.

    3. Almost all my dolls wear modern casual clothing, with a lean toward dressy casual. I have one girl that only wears dresses, but still mostly modern stuff. I wanted them all to be different styles but it just didn't work out that way. XD

    4. I really like casual clothes for my dolls save for my yo-sd who wears a squirrel kigu. I try to buy clothing sets with good mix-and-match capability such as jeans or shirts that are paired with shirts and hoodies. I used to own dress sets, but no longer own any because they only worked as is.

    5. Well my only doll that actually has a body isn't a particular style, just casual clothes really. A doll I have on the way will be gothic Lolita though I don't have any clothes for him, and a doll I'll have on the way soon will be a mix of kawaii, raver, and casual as he'll be modeled after myself.

    6. Nadeko is a lolita but occasionally wears casual clothes when I'm lazy (she only has 2 not-lolita outfits though).
I want one of my future dolls to dress in traditional Japanese clothing though.

    7. -For male dolls, I like the clean, crisp and sharp look provided by three-piece suits and simple black dress-shoes.
-For female dolls, I like a clean and simple look. I tend go for dresses that are simple ( with little to no accessories such as ruffles, jewels etc.) and has a light colour/shade such as white, baby blue etc.

But sometimes, I like to go off-tangent and buy things that are opposite of what I mentioned above.

    8. I try my dolls to wear clothes style like 1900, but adapted to my country, Evan wears waiscoats and hats, Killari tradicional clothes, for the little ones lolita fashion is ok, though

    9. For me, part of the fun of BJDs is getting to explore different and unique fashion styles that I wouldn't necessarily wear myself because I'm older. I adore all the Harajuku street fashions, for instance, and feel free to express them lavishly throughout my crew.:) Since I enjoy the creativity of sewing and designing, my dolls have various distinctive styles which makes it all the more fun for me to create and build their wardrobes.

      Bohemia Rose: Bohemian
Angora De La Rue:Lacy Mori Girl
Imaginaria and her sidekicks BonBon and Cottontail: Fairytale Lolita
      Sugar: Fun cartoon-style sock-couture
      Sprinkles: Decora sock-couture
      Georgie: Fem-boy kawaii sock-couture
Ambrosia De La Rue: Historic 20th century
      Murphy: Steampunk
      Paisley Bloom: Hippie flower child
      Bellamorte: Artsy and Gothic
      Shalimar: Modern Fantasy sock-couture
Barrio Luminaria: Historic and modern Street-styles
      Pixel: Kawaii Decora kimonos

      Giddy: Kawaii Decora kimonos
      Delphinia: Fairy Kei
Patchouli: Elegant Hippie (ala Stevie Nicks)
      Princess Mew: Princess Style

      Dulcinea: Fairy Kei
      Ephemera: Vintage collected style
Zahara and her sidekick Jinn-Jinn: Genie-inspired Bollywood
      Tinker: Steampunk
      Ilya: Decora sock-couture

      Eve Hallows: Halloween style sock-couture
      Morticia: Fairytale Halloween

    10. My dolls have a various styles! XD they haven't only one style.

    11. Similar to my style but also casually fashionable. Kind of what you find in the male section of, let's say, Urban Outfitters or something (since they are male lol) mixed with big cozy sweaters and knits.
I also have a few very girlish clothes (furry boots, shorts, stockings) since I like dressing my boys very cutely sometimes : )

    12. My three dolls are inspired by Japanese street fashion. Cyrus is a special case. He is an accidental Oshare Kei and Kireime Kei follower. He doesn't care much for fashion and will possibly wear the first thing in his closet, thus giving him a 50/50 chance of looking strange, or extremely well-dressed. Stella loves Otome Kei. She loves youthful clothing, and loads of ribbons and bows(and the color pink!). Aomoji Kei/Korean street fashion is also another influence on her, but she only dresses up that way if there's anything official that she has to attend. And finally, Celeste. Her style is Larme Kei. She's an alien that became human, so I want to give her a style that's both elegant and unique-- to emphasize her origins. She also wears nice lingerie; but Stella insists that she can't go outdoors with only undies on LOL.

    13. I'm still figuring out the styles for my dolls. It's been a really slow process of obtaining individual items to add onto outfits, or even making items from time to time. I try not to splurge on doll items, instead just buying one or two a month, sometimes less.

Overall, I think I would like to aim for RPG adventurer styles, but I also really like fantasy styles, too.

    14. My guys are all over the place style wise.

Mostly they tend towards fantasy versions of different eras, so there's the vaguely British-Victorian guy, the modern guy who wears what he thinks is appropriate hareem-ware (PS it really isn't), the vaguely Renaissance European medieval Dictator, the casual modern academic, the medieval fantasy wizard, a rainbow punk, a dystopian punk, a guy who wanders around in modern-era super posh White Tie, a space jockey smuggler (think female Han Solo), a cat burglar who alternates between catsuits and high class eccentricity, and a medieval guardsman (who really needs appropriate armour)...

Um yeah my guys are an eclectic bunch!

    15. My girls tend to wear casual dresses for the most part, and my boy needs more clothing options, but I don't tend to find what I want for him, so he switches between only a couple casual pants outfits. He does have stompy boots, though, which I love. :)

    16. Right now my doll's cloths are rather casual. I'll be moving him to a more rustic wardrobe to fit his character.

    17. Ces: Very casual boy-next-door style with a little bit of alternative mixed in. He prefers comfort over style.
Seraphine: Very feminine, refuses to ever wear trousers, loves frilly dresses and elaborate decorations.
Tristan: Too small to clothe properly so he get stuffed in PukiFee shirts.
Neeko: Patterns, shining things, anything that glistens. He's like a magpie.
Fox: A sort of skater style, baggy/comfy clothes like cargo pants and hoodies.
Gretel: Colourful and co-ordinated, loves cosplay and anything cute.
Artemis: Usually just wears his circus outfits, so he's typically in costume.
Luciano: Loves suits. Feels naked without a tie.
Chaste: Tight jeans, big boots, skimpy tops. Think causal-glamour-rock.
      Lucy: Modern and girly.

Of course, they're not all dressed in their preferred style yet, but none of my crew are ever all complete at once. :doh

    18. Each of my dolls has a different style.

Emily - little kid style, she's a YoSD
Briallen - cutesy and trendy in pink and aqua
Alex - spunky tomboy clothes in red
Fujiko - mori kei in pale purple
Orchid - sexy and trendy in bold colors especially deep purple

    19. *Johnny is usually casual, with some punk and retro pieces thrown in. If it fits him and is slightly outlandish-looking, he'll wear it.

*I originally wanted Alistair to be a punk or a goth, but he prefers more goofy outfits. I'd describe his style as eighties hair metal wannabe.

*Chloe is small, so she gets to wear girly stuff. There are a few punk and mori pieces thrown in, but for the most part she's girly. Pink, Care Bears, My Little Pony, you name it.

*Johanna has a split personality. Her daytime persona likes sweet lolita, mori, and casual clothes. Her nighttime personality likes goth, punk, gothic lolita, and dark mori.

*Guinevere helps herself to Johanna's nighttime clothes.

*Ylla isn't shelled yet, but I have gothic, punk, and steampunk pieces picked out for her. Odds are that she'll also be able to wear Johanna's gothic lolita dresses.
