What's your favorite doll or brand?

My favourite doll is My Bluefairy Alice. She is also my only doll. My favourite company is Bluefairy, but I also really love luts, Doll Chateau, and Granado.

 

I am absolutely in love with pretty much everything by Dikadoll. But my tops would have to be Migidoll, Dikadoll, and DollZone. Dika for everything, Migi for the SD heads, and Dollzone for everything. Actually, my intro to the hobby was the dollzone site, which is how i discovered bjds. So they're def in my top. o v o

I am a bit new at posting threads, to be honest this is the first one I have done. Woot for me, but so I can get to know some people, I would like to know what your favorite dolls are and why.
For example I have a lot of favorites, but the one I love the most has got to be Bichun from iplehouse. I like the way it looks face-up and all. So what do you all love?

My favorite doll? That has to be my ultimate grail, the IoS Chaos (who I managed to miss out twice on, no less...) I just cannot get past how amazingly accurate that fox-faced guy is for one of my characters and then there's something about his otherwise realistic mold together with his exaggerated expression that does it for me.

I have a lot more favorites of course that tie up with him for various reasons. For example I love Crobidoll Lance but ever since I saw the Lance Daydream V.2 sculpt I was head over heels for him and he skyrocketed into grail status immediately as it was a mold I had to have. I could go on about pretty much every doll I own and the ones on my wishlist as well, but alas... that would take too long.

I think I usually fall for the molds that represent my characters the best because I'm initially in love with the characters before they even get a physical form... Of course there are molds I fall for because of the doll itself but having a character to go with it increases my love tenfold, if that makes any sense.

 

I love Blue Fairy since all of their head sculpts from BF to PF is all adorable and nice , their face up are also very sweet and natural
Little Monica too...

But Mostly I intend to like YoSD BJD more

Favorite that I own: Amir, AoD Gu and Loki, DZ Mo-B. They were my first BJDs (characters, but in MSD form, they've been upgraded) so have the most meaning to me.

Favorite based on sculpt: Ay, my grail, Soom Ender. He's sooooo pretty!

Favorite character to play: Kaid, my IslandDoll Eric. He's always light hearted and fun, no drama

Favorite I'll never own: Iplehouse Kamau, he's so hot! But too big for my tastes.

Favorite company: BlueBloodDoll, I own all of their available sculpts, including doubles of Waltz and Valentine

Favorite size: 56-62cm boys. Good detail, but easy to handle

 

Favorite that I own: Iplehouse Carina
Favorite based on sculpt: ditto
Favorite character to play: None really
Favorite I will never own: Iplehouse Kamau..... okay, I am lying, I will probably have to buy him eventually!
Favorite company: Iplehouse, no one else makes such realistically gorgeous dolls!
Favorite size: Big! The smallest doll I own is 63cm. Bigger = Easier to sew for

Favorite that I own: BBB Elfkin

Favorite based on sculpt: Iplehouse Bibiane, Fairyland Siean, BBB Mei (to me she looks like an older Elfkin), Fairyland Karsh. I think if IH Bibiane had pointed ears she'd be perfect, then again, I have a thing for pointed ears. I love Fairyland Roke's ears too...hrmm, maybe I just have a thing for ears :S

Favorite I'll never own: Dollmore Elf Dahlia, she's so gorgeous, but husband thinks she's too creepy (not to mention the price).

Favorite company: Hrmm, I love the realism of Iplehouse, but the posability I've seen with the Fairyland bodies...

Favorite size: I find it frustrating sewing for tinies, and am used to sewing for fashion dolls (16"), so someone that size or bigger would be ideal I think.

 

Wow you are all making me look up at all the dolls you like. They are great, I like all of them they are all unique and different.

And there is nothing wrong with liking ears Johquil they are great my bjd dolls some have lots of big ears.

 

Favorite that I own: Gerda, my Napidoll Chesi, is by far my favorite. She means something special to me, and will probably always be my favorite character.

Favorite based on sculpt: My grail doll is a Volks SDGr Lorina. I don't think I'll ever be able to get her, and I haven't considered what character she could be, I just love her.

Favorite company: Iplehouse, Volks and Little Monica.

Favorite size: SD for sure. I love the mature body and faces, and I love the clothing available.

 

My favourite overall is Doll-Love's Anona, who I have on the way. My favourite boy is Iplehouse Boris, who I plan on ordering!

Favorite based on sculpt: VOLKS F-01/Four Sisters/Megu

Favorite I'll never own: Dollshe SA Saint

Favorite company: Volks

Favorite that I own: Quinn and Keys, my DZ Shengxi/AoD hybrids... and Emmy, my DZ Yan/5Star boy hybrid

Favorite based on sculpt: 5Star Michelle and Bright

Favorite character to play: I have a tie here. Quinn and Keys - one is my baby, the other is just so goofy and fun. Harmony - she's an intelligent space cadet.

Favorite I'll never own: Iplehouse Carina, or Soom Rosette Margurite

Favorite company: Probably 5Star, given how many I own. Runners up: RS/BBB, BlueBlood.

Favorite size: 56-62cm

 

Favorite that I own: Oh dear..that's like picking a favorite child... My WS BBB Apollo and my Soom Corvi....

Favorite based on sculpt: BBB Apollo. I have three and want one more!

Favorite I'll never own: Dollmore Lusion Dahlia "Ice" I loved her from the first minute I saw her but way out of my price range.

Favorite company: Hmmmm... 5stardoll and Resinsoul. I am liking Mirodoll too.

Favorite size: SD, around 60cm -ish is my favorite.

 

Favorite that I own: Massen, my gorgeous Iplehouse YID Mars on their realskin. He's so cuddly. It's like hugging a huge hunky caramel resin god.

Favorite based on sculpt: My grail dolls are a Delf Lishe Sleeping Head (modded to dreaming--got her Feeple version and her name is Alma), Minifee Chloe (her name is Uzi), Feeple60 Chloe (*drool*) and Iplehouse nYID Bianca (*almost bought her but too expensive at the time*)

Favorite I'll never own: Leeke Chrom Ent, Soom Heliot and XagaDoll Hekate but I ain't got money like that.

Favorite company: Fairyland, Iplehouse, Leeke, XagaDoll, Little Monica and Crobi.

Favorite size: SD for sure. I love the mature body and faces, and I love the clothing available, but it took me a while to see that.

 

I couldn't possibly choose my favourite doll, but I'd have to say that my 'dream doll' is an Iplehouse Lion (Y.I.D. - 63cm boy, specifically the model type body). He's just so beautiful and I've seen some great faceups on them. I actually fell in love with the sculpt when I saw a celebrity look-alike doll modeled after a band I love

Favorite that I own: Isao, my modded Switch Seoha and Yui, my Crobidoll DD Lance, hands down! Also Nowe, my DS Wish because he was my first doll and I adore him still~ c:

Favorite based on sculpt: IoS Chaos... just seriously. He's my last remaining grail... I neeeeeeed hiiiiim.

Favorite character to play: that's... hmm... that's very hard OTL I think I'll go with C, my Luts SSDF Avalanche for this.. but it's really one huge tie to be perfectly honest.

Favorite I'll never own: hmmm... that would be SG vampire Misha; not because he won't stick with my family but because of extremely limited availability.

Favorite company: Currently it's a tie between Luts, Crobidoll and Switch. No I can't decide. Doll Chateau and Dollzone have been climbing up my love scale as well.

Favorite size: 55-75cm I love the portability of smaller dolls and I own all the way up from 19cm but I still like the bigger dolls the best~

 

I love all sizes, but I like 73cm more but I am not sure if I will get another, has anyone seen that new Zombie SD doll called Zombie Sol, I think he is pretty cool looking, must have taken a lot of face-up paint lol

 

Favorite that I own: Iplehouse Bichun (my Renji)
Favorite based on sculpt: Bichun again
Favorite character to play: Varies - my dolls are a group of cosplayers. Seeing as Gintoki Sakata's my fav anime character & Renji's gonna cosplay him I'd have to go w/that...
Favorite I will never own: Volks Hijikata (which I may own at some time) or Idealian 51 Cuba (which is the wrong scale so won't ever own him)
Favorite company: Iplehouse
Favorite size: They've got to fit in my scale which basically is 1cm = 1 inch (ie a 60 cm doll is 5' tall & a 70 cm doll is close to 6' tall) - so I've got babies; kids; teens & adults (1/12 scale; 1/6 scale; 1/4 scale; 1/3 scale)

 

My favorite doll that I own is a PKF, but my grail is a SID Eva. Pretty much any Iplehouse larger scult. They're so realistic and beautiful.
