What's your favorite doll or brand?

O gosh, RML. It's been a while since I've heard that name, Their faces are awesome.

Pfff is it weird to say Bluefairy while I don't own one anymore? I just LOVE every single one I see! The simplicity of their faces combined with their minimalistic default face-ups just give me a sense of those classy oldschoolness of BJD? One of the first dolls I saved up for was a Bluefairy too, so that might just be a pang of nostalgia x'D

I am in love with K-doll. I own a Kael and I would sell half my collection for a Khan. Kasis is also high on the list

Rosettadoll has a similar style and all of their dolls are gorgeous, especially the guys. I'm blessed with a Zio, but a Harpas or Wayne wouldn't look bad in my collection.

So yeah, they are my top three favorite companies.

 

Currently, Withdoll is my favorite. They have more than a few doll Sculps I adore.
Some Iplehouse dolls and Soom dolls attract me too, but withdoll has first place with me because of $$.

Mystic Kids is my current favorite. I keep falling in love with their sculpts~ But I'm biased since my first doll was a Mystic Kids Milo.... xD

I know that's a lot but they are all my favorites for different reasons.

 

Souldoll Yeon-Bee is my favorite sculpt and Souldoll is also my favorite company. I just love their current aesthetic!

 

My favorite companies are Iplehouse, Fairyland and Migidoll. It's really hard to pick a favorite doll over all. There are so many I adore and love to look at. However, I think I love Migidoll Jina the most. I consider him my grail doll. I also really love Limwha's Half Elf. She's so beautiful. I find a certain similarity in their faces..but that could just be me. It's silly I haven't bought either yet. Out of the dolls I own, I have to say my Iplehouse Soa is my favorite, followed closely by my Fairyland Celine. Two completely different aesthetics..but to me they are both very amazing.

My favourites would have to be Luts and Volks.

For Luts my favourite sculpts will have to be the old CP ones, the boys especially. I believe the first bjd I saw was an El and it was love at first sight.

The Sabers will be my favourite Volks sculpts. I currently own two of them (Saber Extra and Alter) but I'd love to someday get the others.

 

My favorite doll is DDS Mariko. Her cute face just melts my heart . I've never wanted a doll as bad as I've wanted her. I feel extremely lucky to have her on layaway.

As for favorite brand, I don't know.. There are so many great brands with beautiful dolls out there, it's hard to choose just one!

 

When I first asked myself this likely I'd have said Iplehouse or Resinsoul, but actually I'm really getting more into my Narae, the Ringdoll dolls and the Dollshe boy dolls. I can't afford the Dollshe guys hardly. I do have a Saint head coming to hybrid, but he's got some issues and I would not have him otherwise. When it comes to Dollshe, Iplehouse, Soom and the high end dolls, I'm mainly just looking and enjoying. The only way I could afford my Narae and my Saint was to go for older heads with issues and hybrid. But that was something I was glad to do just to have them. There are a lot of dolls that I really like but my budget is more RS and Miro type dolls than anything else.

 

Favourite companies in no particular order:

Crobidoll - so many cute boys! Their resin is really nice, and I adore their default faceups.

Volks - Many of the early sculpts and standards don't do much for me, but a lot of the limited sculpts over the last ten years or so have been amazing. They're great at creating a total "look" for each release. And all of their resin dolls just feel so "solid." They have a real presence.

Little Monica - Lovely sculpts, nice resin, gorgeous faceups and great interaction with their customers. The little photostories on their page are cute too.

Pluto Doll - A small company, with beautiful sculpts and a Victorian aesthetic that meshes really nicely with my own preferences. The service is great - they sent me a free wig when it took a little over a month to prepare one of my dolls (and that was still quick in my opinion!) and the packaging is beautiful - the head boxes come with a ribbon embossed with a real wax seal, and my full doll had artificial flowers arranged around her in the box.

Picking a favourite doll is impossible... but a few of my most loved are my Crobidoll Zion (I already had a Volks F-20 for the character, but when I saw Zion my jaw just dropped because he was exactly how I imagine my character in my head. So now the F-20 is someone else. ), Volks Williams (Thought he'd just be a grail forever, but I was lucky enough to come into some money and find one on the MP), Pluto Ezekiel, and finally my first BJD, my Custom House Little Junior Mars - forever one of my favourite sculpts. Too bad the company declined so badly.

 

Iplehouse, Iplehouse, Iplehouse. Basically the only kind of doll I have and the only kind of doll I like. The EID's. Naturally the biggest and most expensive ones, LOL! I've looked at tons of companies and tons of sculpts but I just like the very realistic ones the best. And no one seems to do it better than Iplehouse.

 

Switch! If I could afford it, I'd own every Switch sculpt.

 

I really love my Limhwa Leda. However, I am also very attracted to the eerie and slightly disturbed-looking dolls from DollZone, DollLeaves, and Doll Chateau. Something about them really gets my creative juices flowing.

Dollstown's 18 year old Boy sculpt is GORGEOUS. I really want him to be my first male doll.

 

I couldn't decide between Soom and Iplehouse! So many of their dolls are just absolutely stunning!

 

I like Fairyland best. I love their sculpts, resin colour, the faceups and posing.

 

My favorite companies are Dream of Doll , Ringdoll , Dearmine doll , Soom and Crobidoll but I still like DoD the most .
