1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

where do you choose to get bjd accessories and props?^w^

Jun 7, 2010

    1. I would say most of my props have just been lucky finds in stores from craft type to antique. I have very few that were bought form on-line stores.

    2. I pretty much have a large collection of Rement stuff that I just buy just cuz they're cute and they were for my Pinky St. I've had them before I got my Elfdoll Alice and they're the perfect size and proportion to her. I also make all accessories for her like hats, headbands, and necklaces myself since I have a bunch of craft supplies from previous projects.

    3. Well, I shop online mostly.

eBay, Dollmore, and Everybody Loves Dolls would be the ones I look I think the most for specific things.

I stumble across things though mostly everywhere. Hobby Lobby is a wonder for just finding things! They have amazing things!

OMG They have CHRISTMAS coming out now!

    4. Dollmore have great props, sometimes I use eBay or FB to pick up props!

    5. My favorite places are Tokyo Otaku Mode, Tokidoki and So so happy. I have found many cute props/plushies for tinies and MSDs from those places^^

    6. I mostly look on eBay. But carboot sales proove equaly handy.Sometimes you are lucky ^~^

    7. There is a store online that sell stunning chairs for SD sized dolls: https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ResinEtiquette , I know they also have a StorEnvy site. So far picked up alot of my props by going to thrift stores/random finds in small shops. I'll be hitting flea markets/antique sales soon enough. There are some online shops that have amazing things for BJDs, but I've personally not had a ton of luck on ebay (though I haven't searched on ebay much, to be fair).

    8. Great thread!! :):aheartbea
I often search on etsy and always find cute accessories and other stuff for my doll there! Highly recommend it! :aheartbea

    9. I like to do jewellery, hair accessories and such myself.

When it comes to props, I prefer going through every little decorating, souvenir and gift shop I come across. I've found some really cute things~ Though, I'm also planning to order a bunch of props and accessories from Dollmore, but I just keep pushing that for later, because I actually kinda dislike online shopping... ^^'

    10. I I bought some props from the DOA Marketplace. I would also like to try making my own props and furniture. I used to make dollhouse miniatures, so I know I can make things for my dolls too.

I get all my doll jewelry from my friend Cory. She makes wonderful people-sized jewelry, and she just started making jewelry for my dolls.

    11. Yes its the same for me - I used to make miniatures as well, so this larger size is easier for me now that my arthritic fingers struggle with really tiny stuff. I've bought a couple of chairs off Ebay but am planning to make a sofa of some description soon. Its great to read this thread with ideas for places to shop!
