1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Nov 1, 2004

    1. At first, I'll probably just keep the boxes around to store. I can be a big pack rat. X3;

    2. My girl "sleeps" in her box--i made it into a sort of ad hoc bed (no proper covers or anything). It keeps her safe and it's kind of fun to imagine that she needs a place to sleep, as if she were alive. My two little guys came in carries, not boxes, so they're out of luck! They're small enough that they can sit on my bookshelves, and they do...except when they give me the creeps.

    3. Kept them in case I need them for something else in the future? (I foresee the day when I move out.. So i will prolly need it to keep the boys..)

      For now.. they are just taking up space in my store.... (the boys are in their own carriers)

    4. I have kept all the boxes, even some shipping boxes! I don't plan on letting them go though, but if I decide to move, they got their boxes. They'd be in the car to move though.

      Right now, they're on the top shelf in the closet.

    5. Oh, I forgot something. I was going to make a box for a doll that arrived as a kit. I like them to have their boxes. It's protection, really.

    6. I use them as doll carriers, with the pillows still there and all =)

    7. No, I hate the boxes: They're taking up all my closet space!!! :doh But I keep them in case I ever have to sell a doll.

    8. I kept the boxes to both my girls, besides, I like the crop circle look to the DD packages. It looks all alien-like.

    9. i put them in storage :X i kindda feel like they're just as important as the doll themselves kind of..

      well i put stuff i have in storage inside them and then put them in my closet with other stuff i dont touch, they fit pretty nicely on the top shelf :D

    10. I keep them, so many good memories ^_^

    11. Hehe I shove them under my bed or I have this specific place for them at the end of my bed (not on it though ^^U), standing up, and I like throw some of my school clothes on it sometimes. It's pretty handy XDDDD Except ATM there's none there cause I have shipped bodies out :sweat so It's only the DOD bag ^^;

    12. Mine's sitting on my floor, I'm a slob. :sweat My doll sometimes sleeps in it too with my fuzzy hat as a blanket. It'll do until I can get her a bed.

    13. Heh heh. I should probably get rid of mine (I have no space to store empty boxes!), but so far I've kept them. All nine of them. ^^;

      It's funny because I was thinking I'd keep them for if I ever moved. Well, I moved, and the dolls did not go in their boxes. They rode, two or three at a time, in my front car seat beside me, and were immediately placed on shelves upon arrival at the new place. I didn't even use a doll carrier for the big ones, although the little ones did get packed into two of the big carriers. lol

      So much for that brilliant idea.

    14. My friend took it ^_^.

      I just told her that wouldn't it be nice-nice-big box and all. Then she looked at it some time and in the end she just smiled and said to put some books in it. :3.

    15. i've kept mine... but oddly enough while i have four dolls, i've only got two boxes! Tam came without one, and Sehti came from Tensiya in a carrier. so Cyr and Saxon's boxes are on the top shelf in my closet, where there's still space for a few more.

    16. Anouk's box is her bed now, she sleeps in it at night, only the lower part though. (no lid on it :eusa_naug )
      i put her "to bed" every night when i go to bed, and bring "the bed" up with me and put it next to my bed. in the morning we wake up together ;)

      not sure if all boxes will be beds for my later dolls, but i don't think i will ever throw a box, i like such things too much :)

    17. actually i forgot to mention, i don't mind getting a doll without a box. In truth i prefer a carrier as i would be able to take my dolls out with me but a box makes the perfect bed

    18. I've kept mine... but not for any noble purpose. It's just under my bed full of spare make-up, rollers, my hairdryer, curling tongs, etc. It's great 'cos it's so big it's like a full length draw! Lol. :)
      xXx

    19. I use both Akikos small (but oh so adoreable box as her bed, and also that for Julliett, Don't know what I'll use them for really, but they're great memories and I'm sure they'll come in handy at some point

    20. i put mine under my bed to put them back in when i don't feel like playing, or when i am trying to tidy my room!
