Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

a bed!whom they hardly sleep in... seems like its the most common use of a box

 

I keep all my doll boxes in my closet. XD I usually store clothes and extra eyes in them.

 

Glycerine's and Versailles' boxes are on the floor in my room just being in the way and gathering dust at the moment. Novacaine's box is in the living room on a side table being in the way and gathering miscellaneous items. xD

I keep whatever official doll boxes I acquire, but they're not stored in a closet or even holding stuff or anything. I need to change that and clean up. x___x;

 

I keep the boxes in the difficult-to-access part of my closet where I keep boxes for other things. My first doll came unassembled and didn't have a box and it was a huge pain in the butt to ship her safely when I sold her, so I've kept all my doll boxes. I don't store anything in them, though, because it's too much of a pain to get them out from the way back of a corner they're in.

 

I keep mine under the bed, and I have the shipping box in the closet. I only have one doll, so it's easy to keep the boxes. I cut the tape at the bottom of the shipping box so that it folds flat, and I can just keep it up against the back wall of the closet and it take up hardly any room. I don't see myself getting rid of my doll anytime soon, but you never know.

 

All my dolls official company boxes are stored in the top realms of my bedroom closet where the most they can do is collect dust.
Reisner's box is currently storing his sword and extras, but most just hold their pillows.

 

Kitai's Souldoll box is his bed (despite the flowerprint totally not going with his room... XD). I'm not sure if my next doll, Sora, will come with his box, but if he does I have to decide between turning Kitai's bed on its side and turning their boxes into bunkbeds, or storing Sora's box underneath my bed and making Sora sleep on the couch (or, being the gentleman that he is, Kitai would take the couch and let spoilt Sora take his bed xD).

 

I have to keep mine, when Im out my boys are stored in my cupboard to keep them safe from my nieces :\ ....5 days per week ;-;

 

I actually MAKE boxes for them if they don't have them. I spraypainted one showbox for one, and wrapped another for another. My Cutie didn't have a box, so she got made one, and then my LS Noated (Artist doll) didn't either, so I wrapped his box. I still need to make him pillows.

 

I keep all mine. About most of them are under my desk. Which makes it difficult to push the chair in all the way, but still. And the others are under my bed. Or next to the desk. I just can't bare throwing them away.

 

I like to have original boxes, especially if I want to sell a doll. I bought a huge plastic bin and keep the boxes in it in the cellar. The bin closes tightly and the boxes stay clean and dry.

 

I get rid of most of the shippers (then have to scramble when I sell a doll). Keep the others in a rented storage locker. I didn't get the locker because of the doll boxes (You believe me don't you?) , but it sure comes in handy. I use some of the pillows in my doll carriers as a bit of added protection. I love the idea of using them for beds!

 

I think once I get my first one, I'll use the box as a bed - seems reasonable to me! Maybe dress it up a bit XD

 

It's Ivo's bed now. The cushions are a lot more comfortable than the ones I had prepared for him, so I just added a pillow and a blanket.

 

Store in the closet just in case moving time comes !

 

ha ha. Now I've been dumping the boxes at my parents' house lately...

 

I store faceup supplies in them in my closet.

 

I keep them, and the shipping box also, on top of my wardrobe.

 

Unfortunately, they don't fit under my bed's supporting frame, so they encroached on a particular corner in a different room. I like their boxes too much to sell them or throw then out. Plus, they make doll transport easier through shipping. Well, and, heaven forbid, if I end up selling, all would have the original box.

 

Right now, I keep all of my doll boxes in my closet. I'm expecting another one soon so I'm going to have to find a better (and bigger!) place to store them XD
