1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Nov 1, 2004

    1. I already decided that the nice box mine will come in is turning into her bed =) ((I already have a place set up for it to go, I hope it fits XD ))

    2. omg i never thought of that.....i just keep the boxes on the shelf above my closet.

    3. They're stashed in the top of my closet XD I can't bring myself to get rid of them lol.

    4. Put doll things that I know I won't be using for a while (like face guards and other boxes) and keep it under my bed. ^^;

    5. I keep the big kids boxes down in the basement but I keep the tinys in their boxes when I'm not actually doing something with them. I like keeping the boxes for times when I have to move or anything where I would need to put the dolls away and want to feel safe about them.

    6. I'll probably be using it to keep for doll things/putting him in when I have to travel. I'm at college and living on campus, about 12 hours away from home, so I know I'll be needing it! Besides the boxes look so pretty anyway :)

      If I ever -didn't- need it, I'd probably recycle it for an art project. Of some kind. I'm not really sure. Quite handy to just keep intact, though, I'd think!

    7. I think I've kept both my boxes.
      Just in case I move ad I need to put them up or something.

    8. I keep my boxes normally for a couple of months. Just in case, I am like, well, we aren't really bonding... sell. But I keep two of my biggest boxes for doll clothes, and such.

    9. I use them for storage for doll stuff or when I need to put him away.

    10. I've kept my Angelregion box for ages, which is good since I'm planning to sell my Ren, but her box is also very compact.

      My Souldoll box on the other hand is HUGE. I haven't gotten rid of it, but I am seriously questioning if I want to keep it or not, since the size is very impractical.

      Right now, I store my dolls (no place to display 'em yet), in a sterilite bin that goes under my bed - it's full of their pillows so they're protected. ^^

    11. I found I had a ton of boxes, and I WAS keeping the boxes stacked up in the closet but it was getting to be ridiculous. I was also running out of room. So I ended up collapsing the boxes and putting them under a bed. I kept a few boxes/my favorites, and the DIM box that doesn't Collapse in the closet in case I sell off a doll (not likely). I also keep a large doll shipping box in the shed for the same reason.

    12. I have one more move in my future, so I've been saving all mine. I nest them as much as I can, and shift pillows into other boxes. I fasten a hang-tag to the pillows so I know which box they came out of. It only takes up about 2 feet on our closet shelf, and that part of the closet is storage because a dresser blocks easy access anyway.

      And, too, sometimes kids, be they flesh, fur or resin, just have to move on. Having their boxes makes that safer.

    13. When I get my first BJD I'm gonna keep the box for sure. I could use it as a bed for a while or maybe a place to keep their clothes.

    14. I recycle the shipping box and keep the manufacturers box. I put the boxes in the attic, some of them have things stored inside, like books or old papers. I keep the boxes in case I sell the doll one day.

    15. I'll probably use it as a bed for a while.. and then use it for clothes storage.. and then the pretty box will end up on my shelf in my closet.. ><

    16. Right now, I only have two boxes left. XD One's from one of my DZ's, and it's in my closet holding random stuff. xD

      The other one is the box my OrientDoll tiny came in, and it holds both of the ones I have, so I use it to keep them in when I travel. ^^;

    17. I keep them. I'm horribly sentimental like that, I'll prolly have a pile of boxes one day. lol. I love Sprinkle's box, it's so pretty. I want to put it on display. x3

    18. I keep the box. I store the D.I.M c.o.a and packaging material and ribbons from the doll blanket in it.

      The blanket itself is being used as the cushioning on Alice's bed.

    19. i keep the boxes and the cushion it comes with... and use them to store wigs and clothing... but the shipping box i just break them apart and recycle those...
