Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

The top shelf of my wardrobe. I went on an ebay binge and sold just about everything I stored up there, and not it's nice and clean and empty and a great place to keep the boxes out of the way!

 

I keep Ealasaid's box on my bed - between the wall and my pillow. She sleeps there at night - along with a pile of other crap. And randomly my tarot cards are in that box as well.

When my future dolls do come home, I probably will store there boxes under my bed. Since the space under my desk is getting crowded with all the crap I have there.

 

There is a pile of them in the living room atop a bookshelf, and, well, a stack of them in the bedroom awaiting a new home in the closet once the summer closet cleanout is complete. And they're all HUGE. The smallest box of the lot is the DZ SD sized one, most are the gigantic Soom boxes. (We call them 'boxen' here because they are officially a household herd unto themselves at this point.) I store their actual stuff-stuff in file boxes, since it's easier to get a hold of things than it is to sift through several enormous boxes.

When my studio is done up properly, and the closet in -there- is cleaned out, the lot of them will move in there -- but considering that we started painting that room four years ago and it became a storage area when I wasn't looking, well... that probably won't be soon.

 

I keep mine all stacked up above my bookshelf. However, now that i have a mecha angel, there is no more room up there to store any other boxes.

 

Right now I only have one, and it's sitting on top of my wardrobe. At the moment I use it to store Alys' extra stuff, since she doesn't have too much. I'm not sure what I'll do when I get my other dolls, though!

 

I only have one at the moment,and that's under my bed.My new boy will be here soon though,and i want to keep his box too.So i may be moving my girl's to the cupboard.

 

mine tend to float around my apartment, but that's mostly because i use them for storing BJD clothing etc. so if i move into a different room to take photos, the boxes tend to follow

 

I have two closets in my room, though one is for clothes, the other serves as a work space. (My room is only 9ft by 10 ft so it's a little small) I also use the underneath of my bed, or a bin in my closet to keep things. Though I don't have my doll yet, I'm sure under the bed would be dangerous with a cat and a dog who are always underthere.

Even if you had to keep the doll out of the box and on your bed sometimes, I don't think it would be horribly hard finding a little room. Maybe switch to a carrying bag instead of it's box.

I keep all of my boxes in my closet. They just.. sit there, don't really do anything. :B But, its a box, so of course it wouldn't do anything lol

 

I keep mine above my bed as a temporary headboard (my room is so full of clutter -__-), I threw out the postal box it came in. Reading everyone's comments I was thinking, if the boxes are collapsible, it would make for easier storage, especially for overflowing closets

 

i keep my boxes under my bed.. they store all my extra stuff (wigs, clothes, eyes, hands, etc.) when my dolls are wearing/using them. So they are a storage unit for me (How I convinced my boyfriend to not throw them out.. made them useful)

 

my doll's boxes are also their beds (those doll pillows are cute and soft!)
so i keep one on my working table (now friendly named "Haru and Purple's house")
and another one on the othertable in the room, wich is supposed to be Purple's bed. but Haru doesn't like sleeping alone, so that bed remains unused.
i'm fine now, but i'll have lots of problems once the number of boxes starts to grow XD

 

I have one that's under the bed, Bezzlebub didn't come with a "box" as he was bought on the marketplace, just a shipping one, which I threw away!

I plan on transforming the box into a nice carrying case for the doll

 

Natalie's box is stored under my bed with many of my other doll boxes(I've collected some Madame Alexanders as well.) Bella's box is so itty bitty that I just store it in the box I have for stuff that belongs to her but doesn't sit in her apartment.

 

Tae-Jun's box is kept in my closet on a shelf...he's actually in it at the moment. Asriel just came in a random box because I bought him on the marketplace, so I didn't keep his. When I get his body the box with go in the same place though.

 

At the side of my bed XD i use it to hold bags and such from clothes/eyes/wigs and other random miscellaneous stuff

It was originally a closet for clothes, but then i bought a drawer for that ^_^

 

Under my side of the bed and under one of my dressers. I am gonna put them all under the bed eventually. The gift wrap box is gonna have to go into the garage if I get anymore dolls. I also store my clothes in mine so I need to be able to get to them. I do have a closet I could use but I need to clean it out. I has my china in it now. LOL Then I have to find where to put that. Note to self need bigger house
