1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Nov 1, 2004

    1. I keep them.

I currently live at my grandparents house because it's easier for me to get to school that way. However, it's a small place and so I plan to move out once I finish college and have a job. I certainly won't be owning a house immediately, so there are at least two moves that would happen in the future. My dolls are something I'd want kept as safe and intact as possible and so I keep the boxes for that reason.

    2. I'm a college student living in the dorms - large, free boxes are immeasurably valuable sparkling treasures in our lives. Seriously. Lu's boxes (the doll box itself and the box it was shipped in) are currently in my storage cubicle on campus while I'm home for the summer, crammed full of video game equipment and anything else that I could get to fit.

    3. Ealasaid's box is on my bed - between the wall, bed head and my pillow. And that's where Ealasaid and Vittoria sleep/hang out. And Vittoria didn't come with a box so I didn't have to think of where to store her box.

    4. Well.. Since I only have one doll, she "sleeps" in her box. Lol. She used to be in there all the time. Not so much anymore.. But I still put her back in there from time to time.. So she can "rest". Lol. XD

    5. I use the boxes for storage of doll accessories, clothes, spare parts, etc. I also keep the boxes for shipping purposes----of course if you resell a doll, it's good to have the original box. But I also keep them in case I need to ship my dolls out for mods, aesthetics, etc. By reusing the boxes, I don't have to waste money at the post office buying a new one. ^-^ Ya really never know when you're gonna need a good 'ol doll box. ;D

    6. Me and my sister turned her closet into the dolls "bedroom" and we stack the boxes together and made bunk-beds. and added some stickers, Mini-posters, and tiny-teddy-bears!

    7. I keep all their boxes. It is easier to store their extra hand & feet, accessories there. Less likely to loss such a box, right!;)

    8. I've only kept one box, and that was for my Yo [after all the bid wars I went through to get her, of course I'm keeping it!] The flimsy plastic boxes for my two girls got recycled, and my only guy came in a carrier instead of a doll box. :) Any other boxes may get kept, provided I have the room.

    9. Right now it's used to keep my girl when I'm not playing with her. And I don't think I will throw away that box. Somehow, that box is useful for many other things beside to keep her. :)

    10. Mine are currently being kept at my boyfriend's house, in one of his spare rooms (ie. the junk room)
Bwahahahaa! Yay for lack of space at my own flat!

    11. I keep them on the floor of my closet, among numerous sewing baskets and heaps of fabric. :)

    12. i use them to store wigs and dollclothes and shoes and all the staff of them in, things i don't use every day, they go under my bed, next to the carriers, and my dolls sit on their own bed.

    13. By the way, I have to say my little sister love to collect these box for her accessaries..... I don't know why..... She always ask me to give her my boxes....

    14. Well, I use one to store different stuff, like spare hands, wigs, clothes.
And I have throun away the smaller one, it only takes place)))

    15. One's a cat toy under the bed, the other's for storing the dolls' things. ^__^

    16. The boxes are useful for me~Cuz i can put the dollclothes, dollshoes,or other things as well~

    17. I keep the boxes and make them into beds. I know a few of my friends do this too. I'm horrible for getting rid of anything with sentimental value :P It took me over a year to get rid of the cardboard that the doll boxes arrived in! So, beds for me.. though I only have 2. It could get rather crowded with 40 beds in a room D: I like the idea of cutting out the label and just keeping that. That way you still have a bit of it. You could use them too to store doll stuff in; clothes, accessories, wigs, eyes, etc.

    18. The boxes get put into the category of "need it if I move" and since in the past few years and the next few years I move a lot, they get saved. Luckily, I'll only have my two and my minifee's box is the only one here right now, and it stays with my video/editing/computer equipment boxes. I have a little roll-y desk that has most of my boxes and bags. I'm keeping them, since I can only really afford the time and money for these two dolls and have plans to move cross-country fairly soon. My dolls sleep on some little benches around my place.

    19. My Dollmore box doesn't do much. My Dollzone box is bigger so I throw both my dolls and all their stuff in there when it is time to travel.

    20. It's under my bed :'D I keep her fullset stuff in there since she never really wears it(pain to get on her ha ha). I don't know what I'll do with the box Wander's body comes in ha ha
