1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Nov 1, 2004

1. actually im making a wall of boxes.

2. I have 6 boxes which I use to store clothes, wigs, eyes and their cushions/pillows in.
They're pretty stuffed so I hope for the next two boxes (with dolls) to arrive quickly.

Laoky

3. I stuff them (shipping boxes, doll boxes, and all) in the closet like a squirrel on crack.

Currently, the boxes are taking up all the space so I may have to relocate some to the garage... >_>

4. Originally I put the tiny doll boxes in the big trunk I keep clothes in, and the big dolls lived in their boxes in the closet. Then we found ourselves (hubby collects as well) with too many dolls for this to work. We recently converted half of our garage in to an office/library and so now the dolls live on book shelves out there. The boxes have been emptied and are going up into the attic for storage. I could never get rid of them, in case we need them for something or we ever decide to sell the dolls. I do not keep the large shipping boxes though, they go out with the recycling.

5. All the shipping and doll boxes goes in the closet for future use here too.
Still plenty of room in the closet. ^^;

6. I usually end up stuffing them in the closet or under my bed, and I put old wigs/clothes in them.

7. So far I only have Corbins Box (the other two came from the marketplace without original boxes) and i intend to keep it. At the moment it functions as a bed for them.

As long as I have enough space in my cupboard to keep them (and keep doll supplies in the boxes) I'll keep them. Just because they are pretty or to send the dolls in them if I should ever sell one. If I'll run out of space I will throw them out^^

8. I've kept the company box as well, it's storing accessories and extra stuff like 'restringing set' and possible face-up stuff. I think I'll use it for long distance travel with Reika.

9. I have gotten into the habit of collecting the boxes. I think they're too pretty to be thrown away. ^^

I also use them to store their clothes and wigs. I will also place my dollies in their boxes when I know I won't be using them for an extended period of time, just to keep them neat and clean.

10. I have to many boxes and need to throw them out.

11. I really shouldn't keep them since they're starting to take up a lot of space but for the time being I use them to store extra clothing/accessories and pillows. Not all of mine came with boxes since a few are off the marketplace but the one's that did I can't bring myself to toss just yet.

12. I keep the best of them in my closet for dolls clothes and stuff :)

13. they sit on the shelf in my closet. i only have two for now but when i have so many they dont fit in the closet ill move them to my basement in "my room" down there =] its a large family/tv room ill have plenty of room to make the back in to my doll area

14. My boxes ... they gather dust xB Seriously, they just gather dust, but occasionally,
I throw some empty packages in them to save up some space.

15. Even though I don't have any boxes [Yet!] I plan on storing mine. I move so often, that I want to keep the boxes to move the dolls in. Also, coming from a doll collector background, half of the value of a doll is in the original box, so I don't think I could bring myself to get rid of them.

16. I keep the original boxes. They lay in a small storage room, where all my stuff lays that I don't use.

17. I keep them all. Most of them are at my mom's house since she has a lot more storage space but I have a few high up in my closet as well. I could never see myself throwing any of them away, I need them all incase I move or sell someone etc.

18. I think it would be a cool idea to turn the boxes into couches...like...take the sturdier bottom box and make it...the seating area..maybe staple the pillows or something on top of it...then put the top box behind it as the back of the couch....O.O...you could open the sideflaps on the back of the couch and put them on the side of the seat part so it's like arms....

UNFORTUNATELY, I use my box for storing my darling during travel or for general convenience...<333

EDIT: I just realized that you can do that without staples or...anything at all..all you need is a stable surface and a stable wall...lol

Very affordable couch! lol...You can see the purple DoD box..and the pretty lavender pillows...it's so cute..ToT...why didn't I do this earlier?

19. So far I keep them, you never know when you might need them to store or maybe protect them during a move.

20. I never bought directly from a company or a dealer yet... so I only get big brown box... If they are too big they go in the blue garbage thing....

If they are smaller I keep them to use for later =3
