Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

The outer brown cardboard boxes get flat packed in the back of one of my two closets. The actual doll boxes are where I store my dolls most of the time (we have major dust issues, lots of pets and god forbid we ever get broken into and the dolls are just hanging out in clear view) and the boxes get stuck under my bed. It's queen sized so I should be able to fit all my boxes under there. I don't intend to have a huge collection and if I get boxes like the teeny Yo-SD or Puki ones fairyland has - those can sit on a bookshelf looking like big books lol.

 

I throw mine away, my dad is a packrat and most the stuff in the house belong to him, everything that's mine fit into my room, and frankly, I have no place to stick empty boxes. I doubt I'd ever use them because I have carriage bags for the dolls. It's better if the boxes went to recycling instead.

 

I shot most of the boxes, yes I have a couple of them to keep inside the clothing of the dolls, and one for the wigs, but the rest of the boxes I have thrown away, if the guards would not enter all my bedroom lol

 

I've kept mine, it's under my bed. It just holds Amalie's sleeping head and the eyes she came with. She also stayed in the box until I got her clothing, which was just recently at Anime North in May.

 

Mine stay in the closet. I don't have room for them in any other spot at the moment. When I move I'll probably keep them elsewhere.

 

I currently have all my BJD boxes, but I only have 3, and I store the "shippers" in the garage or attic. My goal is to set up some display cases for all my dolls in my office and get rid of (or store them in the garage/attic) all the boxes.

 

I use them to save them, there are certain light and cats.
I have them on the Bookshelf ^^

 

My Luts box is actually the PERFECT bed for my two boys. XD I loooove luts for that reason. The pillows are perfect and the box is the perfect size. C:
My SOOM box is holding all of the clothes for my two boys.... XD I have actually all 4 boxes still. 2 Shipping boxes 2 Doll boxes. I just can't bring myself to toss them away no matter what. XD

 

When I got my first dolls I figured I could use their boxes as beds but I ended up throwing them away when I had to move to a different country shortly after.
Right now I only have the pretty silver Soom box my Dia came in and I store the boys' paperwork and a few of their pillows in there (I always gotta keep their pillows >.< lol).

 

My Pukifee box is sitting in my bookshelf looking pretty and pretending to be a book. I keep spare parts like magnets and extra faceplates in it.

 

I threw away the shipping boxes. The doll boxes and pillows I keep them in my store room shelf.

 

Tohru lives in his box. There's too much sun and dust and catsand not enough space in my room for him to be sitting out 8/ The shipper box only got tossed cause it was taking up too much room. I fully anticipate any future dolls spending a lot of time in their boxes when they aren't being played with as well, because I don't see my living space significantly increasing anytime in the next few years....

 

Right now, most of my dolls are in their boxes since I'm cleaning out my bedroom. I still need three more though, which reminds me to update my wtb thread!

 

Keep them, always! They just contain the pillows and papers and they're stacked in whatever corner I can find, but I can't imagine getting rid of them. The obsessive collector in me would never allow that.

NOTE: I mean that I keep the pretty boxes the dolls are in; I don't keep the cardboard outer shipping boxes. I usually reuse or recycle them, I don't have any particular love for them.

 

I use the brown shipping boxes for sealing parts for faceups/blushing. Once the box gets too banged up or isn't usable anymore I toss it. The pretty boxes the dolls come in I keep. They get stacked neatly in the shelves of my larger closet space. I don't intend to live where I am forever so I keep them for moving, and they store non essential things - props or things I don't keep on the set all the time, clothes and things I intend to sell so it's safe and not mixed up with my other doll stuff, exess pillows (because I can't bring myself to get rid of them). One or two of them also get used as furniture.

 

I keep them, stacked away neatly in a closet. Should I move or, if one is sold,or like aforementioned I need to send one out for blushing or a faceup, I know I have them for those purposes.

 

for my greatest I used as a bed ^ ^.
For others I put to rate and jy retains some party wig and clothing ^^

 

I use mine as a bed as well. XD Though it looks a bit like a pink coffin...

 

I just put mine under the bed ^_^ So yeah, I'm keeping it, but all I have in it, is the papers Fabian came with ^^

 

Add some blankets and a pillow and POOF. Bed. That's what I did!
