1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Nov 1, 2004

    1. I keep my dolls in their respective boxes or in their cases. I keep the boxes along with whatever cushions and things that accompany the dolls. It goes back to my hoarding collector mentality. I use the boxes for clothing/random item storage when they're not housing the dolls themselves.

I always send dolls with their boxes and all the doodads unless the buyer specifically requests otherwise. As a buyer myself, I feel sort o cheated if I can't get everything that originally came with the doll. [currently hunting a Lusis default wig, eyes and eye mech. and papers xD]

Random addition, I'm also saddened with the boxes get damaged. My Lusis's box got wrinkled and a little smooshed. I consider holding onto the box to be a part of my experience as a collector.

    2. I keep all the boxes! I am VERY picky about keeping everything my dolls come with in mint condition, even the box.

    3. I keep them. Their useful for keeping all my dolly stuff in :3
And plus the boxes are always so nice, it seems like a shame to throw them out.

    4. They're under my bed. I don't think I'd ever get rid of them in the event that I move or something.

    5. I keep some, and some I don't. I don't think that represent an issue to me as a collector, I have my reasons as to why I prefer not having them, though I agree they are useful sometimes, specially if you're selling your doll later. ^^'

    6. Hide did come with a Dollzone box...but I believe I threw it out because it was taking up valuable space in my closet (has a notoriously small closet) Caldeth did not come with his own box. He came in a pouch. Didn't really find a need for it, so it went too! Aya my Fdoll Kemi did not come in anything special. Just a blanket wrapped around her and tons of packing peanuts. So, threw the shipping box away. Since then, converted a shoe box into a bed for her. So, yeah. I have a feeling the ONLY box I'll be keeping ever is the Littlefee box. Something about those little storybook type boxes that scream "SPECIAL!!! DO NOT TOSS!!!"

    7. While cleaning my room I decided to convert the DZ box into a closet. So I stuck a wooden rod threw it and plan to make dollie hangers out of wire. :P Seems like a great idea to me!!

    8. i keep all boxex i got, keep them in a closet - mostly with doll clothes, wigs, shoes and some with the fabrics.

    9. They're all stuffed into the doll room closet! I even keep the outer shipping boxes just in case I sell a doll and need one. Needless to say after 20+ dolls of all sizes I have very little room in that closet!

    10. i just keep them in my room..i like the design..i even keep all the boxes from my anime figure

    11. My boxes are under my bed, they insulate against cold and noise

    12. I never throw away the dollfie boxes... I use them to store shoes, clothes, wigs, options parts...

    13. My girlfriend and I keep the boxes in the closet of our spare bedroom. I can't bring myself to throw away boxes, having moved so much in my life. And as much as I hate the idea, if I were to sell one of my dolls, I'd like to sell it in their original box as much as possible.

    14. I'm holding that with you

    15. Right now most are under my bed. Some are in the closet. I will eventually pass all my dolls down to my niece one day and I want to be able to pack each doll back in his or her box. Then she can decide what she wants to do.

    16. I keep all doll boxes in storeroom in my home.

    17. Mine are for the moment in my closet, but i plan to turn the into either a couch or a bed :)

    18. well I plan on using my box as a place to put all of her stuff, since I don't get her till christmas but I already have five outfits for her O.o'

    19. All the boxes I've received for mine i just stack, or put in my closet. I have a thing for boxes anyways, so they just hang around.

    20. The shipping boxes were recycled. Two of my dolls were adopted and I was grateful the previous owner kept everything in good shape. While I have no plans to sell any of my crew in the near (or far, but one never knows what life has in store), I keep the boxes, pillows and certificates in dry storage.
