Where do you keep your doll?

aha!! I knew I thought of D for a reason when I saw your boy!!! =D that's awesome.

 

Mine are where I am. If I'm in my room, they're in their room. If I'm on the computer, one of them is always with me. When I go out I take at least one with me (unless I'm at work).

 

I have a couple sofas downstairs in my living room and they all sit out there looking as if they are having a tea party most of the time. Whoever happens to be getting the love from me that week usually sits on my printer in my computer room, so that I can look at them while I'm catching up on email or what-have-you.

 

They hang out on various BJD-sized sofas and chairs in my and my daughter's bedrooms, and sometimes on BJD-sized sofas and chairs in other places, like the living room and the office by the computers (to keep us company.)

 

Soye sits nicely on my printer next to my laptop.

 

We moved the love seat into the living room with the intention of using it for all the dolls to sit on, yet when I sit on the sofa to watch tv, I have all my guys sitting next to me anyway, lol.

 

My desk came with a book-shelf type thingie above it, so I turned the two enclosed shelves into a living room and a bedroom for my boy. When he's not sleeping in bed or reading in his room, he's usually wherever I happen to be.

Beck chills on my computer desk next to the window and my tablet :]. Unfortunatly he's also chilling around a crapload of trash D: sorry Beck!

 

Nagi and Bonqueesha hang out on the top shelf of my bookshelf ( mostly because it's the less cluttered one. x) ) At some point, when I actually get around to cleaning my room, I plan on making my back corner a living space for my dolls. ( The cool thing about my room is that it's L shaped, so the smaller little branch is the perfect area for making a doll home. )

brightfires omg, I *love* foxes too. ;____; I still can't find any SD scaled ones and it's killing me. >_<

and they have more levels..just that it is currently messy...

All but one of Jen's small foxes are from that group... They're the perfect scale for 60cm guys.

 

My girl sits around on the bookself...and there are times when i put her to sleep (back inthe box) cause Im afraid if I keep her out too long her skin will turn yellow or something

 

My boys usually hang out in my bedroom, on a tall dresser, unless I am actively playing with them. It's cooler and darker in there (I have black out shades on the windows, being in Alaska), so less danger of sunlight-related yellowing/fading. My living room has near-sheer curtains, and southern exposure, so I avoid having them out there for very long.



I don't have much in the way of furniture for them, just a couple of chairs that were originally for other dolls. There's not much available up here, and it costs a lot for shipping heavy objects so I haven't bought anything from Ebay, etc.

Updating with pictures, finally.

 

My Mimi & Dillui like to be near my Japanese doll family, and likes to sit on the chair together. (They are standing for this pic) They are learning Japanese; Say: Hajimemashte yoroshiku onmigaishimasu... "Watashi tachi nihonjin no ningyo ga dai suki desu !! "

My Mimi also likes to sit on my computer desk because she always wants to be near me...Dillui is usually out shopping!

 

I don't really have a spot for Sakiyo yet... and I probably won't until I get moved out of the apartment and there's only two of us living in the new one. I'll have room to make a shelf for my dolls, or keep them on a vanity with furniture, or something like that. Right now, she mostly sits on my computer tower when I'm in the main room, and she sleeps in her box-bed at night.

 

Tig's usually sitting on the edge of my desk [it's safer than it sounds...] next to my laptop, and occasionally I take him down to plop him in my lap. Sometimes I bring him upstairs and sit him on the side of my bed. XD

 

My boys have their own doll bunk bed, but stay on my bed most of the time. That is, if I am not carrying them around. My two girls (who are just heads) are the ones that stay on the doll bed.

 

Asu is currently sitting on my scanner XD...

 

I don't really have a 'designated' spot for Arnold yet, so he's either on my bed or the computer desk (the computer isn't there right now, I keep it at school).
