1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your doll?

Nov 16, 2004

    1. I would take a photo, but that would mean many many photos around my house since Jun pretty much follows me around the place all the time. Right now I'm out in the living room with my laptop, so he's been standing up against the wall playing with his DS; for the past few days actually. Other days, he'll be on the shelf in my bedroom above my laptop when it's back in there...or by the window if he's bored.... :D

    2. i've renovated the bottom of my bookshelf so that kumiko can have an apartment, of sorts :D she also has a really big couch that doesn't fit in the bookshelf.

      (i need to vacuum sometime >_>;;)

    3. My dolls sleep in their box everyday(to keep away them from dust or turning yellow). If I want to play with them, I will take them out.^^

    4. Some of mine live in a large glass display cabinet in my living room. They're the lucky ones. Some live on the tv cabinet & some on the bookshelves. The overflow get crowded onto an antique rocker. I think I have too many dolls.

    5. Hmm it varies. Usually he is on my desk by my computer or sometimes he's on my bedside table or stereo. I really want to get him a chair or bed, his box just takes up too much room and my shelves are all filled with books and manga ^^; I would love to have him just sleep on the other side of my bed but...my cat has claimed that spot and I don't want him covered with cat fur or to be bothered by my cat ^^;;;;

    6. that's exactly what I did I kept them in the dark away from dust and yellowing but I found I rather have them out and about even if I just pass next to them in the house, i felt they were limited hidden away and I will enjoy them more this way :roll:

    7. They usually sit on my bed and watch me surf the net. At night they'll either sit on my side table or chair. XD

    8. I have a chair set up beside my desk in my room, but only one doll can sit there at a time. The ones not sitting on the chair used to sit on a stool beside one of my bookshelves, but new puppy means putting dolls in safe places off the floor.

      Otherwise, they sit on my bed, but Yuli tends to hide among my penguin collection when there's room.

    9. My doll sleeps on the floor during the night ^_^;; Next to my guitar and amp.. wrapped in a blanket XD During the day, he sits on the bed with my favourtie hide plushie~

    10. depressingly i have to keep ludo on my tall bookshelf. because of my boyfriend's three adventuresome cats. anywhere they can jump or climb to is fair game for them. and i'm pretty sure the most curious of the bunch actually likes being squirted with the waterbottle by now so training is near impossible.

      i thought it was sad enough until my boyfriend decided to move him to an even higher shelf when he got a calvin and hobbes collection set for christmukkah and wanted to "make room" for it. i was pretty livid.

      he's gone on tour with his band this week so my plan is to rearrange the bookshelf so that ludo can be somewhere that doesn't put him at risk for getting nosebleeds from high altitude... :vein

    11. 75% of the time when I'm on the computer, Ashlay'll be sitting on top of my scanner, if not, she'll be in my room, beside the bed.

    12. My three boys have acquired the entire nightstand at the foot of my bed. It's well away from any natural light, no cats can knock them down because it's a cat-free living space (yay doors!) and the chair and table will fit with the dolls with very little difficulties. ...for now. That may change in another doll or two. ¬.¬

    13. They're taking over my bookshelves. :sweat

    14. I've got a nifty little "room" set up for my boys on top of my desk bookshelf. They've got their couch, their chair, their dresser and their breakfastysittyspot all up there... everything, however, is right next to each other, but they've never complained.

    15. I keep Kaida sitting in her little blue chair on a shelf of my bookcase. She seems to like it there okay. :)

    16. When I get my girl, she'll stay next to me all the time, 'cause I'm clingy like that. Once I order her, I'll get my room more fixed up, hopefully have my wall shelves mounted by then, and that will clear out other areas, and I'll set her up a room there.

      I'm planning on her sleeping on my bedside table, though. :D

    17. I usually have my Orion sitting on the couch with little Thistle snuggled in his arms but if they are not on the couch they can be found hanging out where ever I am in the house.

    18. Naomi usually sits next to my monitor where I can keep an eye on her. (Don't want that silly mouse chewing on her D: )

      And then when I go upstairs she comes up with me and sits either on my bed or uses one of my doggy soft toys as a horse XD;;

    19. I'm glad to know I am not the only other person that does this. There is not a lot of room in our appartment and I have my two cats. I would be afraid that if I left her out, I would come home to find her bald because one ran off with her wig, or missing completely as the older of my two cats really likes her. I think he wants his own bjd. I would probaly find her with teeth marks on her wrist from being towed behind the bed or in the closet where he most often hoards the stuff he deems as "his".

      Don't get me wrong, we love our two furry boys, they are our children and generaly very well behaved. I just cant leave a $500+ doll out for them to "play" with.:sweat

    20. I must be a very lucky woman. My crazy cat Jenks gets into/onto/after just about everything in my (also small apartment), but he has never (knocking on solid wood here) ever bothered my dolls. All three (Treya, Imbri & tiny Door) sit out all day and he has never touched them. *running off to find more wood to knock on*
