Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Where do you keep your doll?

    1. I haven't got my boys home yet, but as I currently live in two different places simultaneously I've been giving this some thougth myself. Most of the time I live in a very small freshman dormitory room, so I'd keep my boys on my printer I think (I never use the document feeder so they'll live there). It's right next to my computer so I can look at them when ever I want :)
      At home though, I think I'd keep them on the top shelf of my closet or in the nice mahogany doll-box that I got years ago. It folds out into a little bedroom for a 16-18" doll.

    2. When I'm not doing something with them, mine are either in the original boxes or in carriers. The SDs and tinies are stacked on a large bookshelf and the MSDs are on a storage chest, both are in their doll room.

    4. Mine is on the bar (between a table and shelf height) right next to my computer, since i spend most of my time there. I'm trying to find a new spot for her though because, being in such a tiny apartment, the bar is right next to the stove and I'm scared of grease and oil getting on her! But I don't have any surface for her in the bedroom!

    5. I keep my two dolls on my combined dresser/bookcase. I don't worry about them falling, and even if they did they're not far from the ground and it's covered in soft carpet. I want to get them a little sofa someday, but right now I just don't have the space.

    6. Mine mostly sit on their own couch and chairs on my bedroom floor - the tinies sit on top of a cupboard - and at least two of them sit on the sadly empty side of my double bed! But I am going to make a shelf unit where they can have a couple of room settings.

    8. Mine live on a flat-topped shoe rack next to my desk [which is going to need clearing off because #4 is incoming quite soon! Maybe I need to dig out the long couch in my closet...] For the most part, my cats are rather unimpressed, but I don't give them the chance to change their minds.

      My girls tend to wander all over my apartment, so they're sometimes on my entertainment center, my computer desk, or in the little bed/nap area I made for them. :)

    10. One of my girls is in her chair on my desk, and the other two are on top of the bookshelf. Once I finish making the bed I'm working on, though, that'll be another place one or two of them can hang out. And I'm planning on getting another chair for the other side of my desk, too. :)

    11. My doll had spent most of her time in her box until recently I've put her on the chest of drawers by my bed. My cat never goes up there for some reason, so Cera has been able to sit happily and undisturbed for a few weeks now. When I move in a few months I will probably need to find another spot for her though, because my boyfriend's kitties jump all over everything :]

    16. Aless and Andrea sit together in a kind of stool i have in my room.
      Caoilte used to sit there too, behind them, but he looked so uncomfortable there he now sits on my bed, i just sit him on my desk at night.
      I don't know what i'm gonna do when i have more dolls here, next one is Kiron and he can sit besides Cao, but i have 2 more heads and when they have their bodies... my desk is not that big!!! xDDDD

    17. Everywhere! Well, except the kitchen & the bathroom. The BJDs though are concentrated in my livingroom. I have a large glass cabinet that a number of them live in. Others have taken over some of my built in bookcases. And still others live on the floor in front of the cabinet relaxing in their chairs & couches. They're all displayed with furniture & accessories as I like to have them doing something.

      My other dolls are in various cases upstairs with some on the dresser as well. I simply have way too many dolls.

    18. I have three cats, two of whom love to knock things over and be in everything they're not supposed to be in.

      I keep my girl on my desk. Generally, as long as she's far back on the shelf, the cats will walk all over her, run her, what not, and she'll stay in place.

    19. Mine usually party on the shelves of my bookcase, and on occasion I'll bring one over to my desk when I'm on the compy. Right now, Lady's next to me. :XD:

    20. Depends on what I was doing with it XP

      I only have a head for now so he can go about anywhere XD

      After/during face-ups I keep him on a shelf in the basement....

      And when I keep him with me he stays next to me in my room :)
