1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your doll?

Nov 16, 2004

    1. I always keep my doll with me, on my lap for that matter. But when I get my other one, they would still stay by my side. Lol, but err...you could always try putting them out of a cats reach, by pushing them pressing against the wall, SITTING on the side table. Or you could make the boxes they came in into beds and you place them in it and put it ontop of the side table. It works pretty well.

    2. My dolls live mostly in my room on my desk, i have such a tiny room they don't get a lot of space, i'd love to get a sofa for them just so had there own sitting space :)

    3. She stays in my bed, because that's where I am most often when I'm at home. :3 She's covered with a blanket during the day because my bed faces the window, though it's always closed, I still get a little scared for her. x3 She likes to cuddle with me there instead on my lap, fighting for room against the laptop.

    4. I keep Gavin in his box, I tricked it out with all sorts of comfy-ness inside :)

I still feel the need to give him blankets too, even though he's a doll :sweat

    5. Right now, Temperance is sitting on my printer holding my B&G Leile and my two B&G Freyas are in their boxes with their heads on my desk. When I only had one Freya, I kept her on my bookshelf. Once I am able to reassemble my girls (after face-ups, sueding, and blushing) I will sell my old Freya and place the new Freya on the bookshelf in memory of the old Freya. And I am cleaning a spot on my desk for Celeste (a BBB Ariel I am saving up for).

    6. Uhh... I would put my doll on my shelf near the back, so she doesn't fall and my cat won't get her.

    7. They stay on the pillow next to me where I sleep. Not only is that the best location facing away from the window where the sun shines through I feel safe when they guard over me at night. :)

    8. They're in their box which are in my closet. I can't leave them lying around in my tiny house because of large windows facing East and west. I also cover up their props so they don't get sun and dust damage.

    9. Away from my dogs !!

    10. My Maze is kept at my friends house, who knows how much he means to me. So even though he stays in his box, he remains in the living room so its easy for me to get ahold of him when I'm over there and is shielded from her cats at the same time. ((Protected by a mountain of crap that is surrounding him ^^)) But the glass cabinet sounds like a great idea. It will protect your doll and make it look pretty too!

    11. In a pillow in one of my drawers.

    12. My doll sleeps in his box ^___^
It's on top of my mini shelf.

    13. My dolls all hang out on a little piece of the ledge running around my room, but I'm lucky in a way because I don't have kitties to knock them down, just puppies that like to sit on them when they're off their shelf. They're actually running out of space on the little piece of the ledge that's devoted to them though...if I get any more, they're going to have to relocate.

    14. My Dollfie Dream Yukino is currently sitting on this old recliner I've got. (It doesn't recline anymore.) I even vacuumed it clean before I sat her on it :) Before that she was standing on my desk around a few of my 1/6 scale dolls.

Aside from that desk, my other 1/6 scale dolls stand around my computer monitor and on this mini-desk to the left of the monitor.

    15. The crew is usually scattered about my room. The usual designated places are my desk (which Randall, Diannas, Kit, and Rynn have claimed) The bookshelves, where Albert is more than happy to reside, along with Night and Valevan. The others are wanderers and really haven't claimed a home in this little room, perhaps the bed occassionally when the boyfriend isn't occupying it first. ^^;

    16. Onee-Chan-Taichou and I keep our kids on top of a DVD closet-thing by the TV. She just sold two dolls so now there's only two 60cm dolls and a Puki. I've got one on the way though and she's got... three coming in, so it might get just a tad bit crowded...

    17. Inside a glass door cabinet which always has a shadow. My friend warned me about direct sunlight so I'm trying my best to avoid the window.

    18. Whichever room I'm in at the time. If I'm in the bedroom, she's in my bedroom. If I'm in the Kitchen, then in the kitchen.@@ She's still so new to me that I'm pretty posessive of her...

    19. My dolls live on my bed, although that might change when my 70cm boy arrives.

    20. They usually stay on a display on top of my dresser--one's in a chair, and one's on a stand. I'll probably have to adapt it as I get more though, haha. \D It's pretty stable, and it looks nice, so I'm happy with it. C:
