1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your doll?

Nov 16, 2004

    1. My dolls stay inside a wardrobe if I'm not home or playing with them.

    2. I just made room for Yeyo on my bookshelf! She has her own little doll space, it's so cute. I will post pictures of it soon! :)

    3. I have a dresser with a small cabinet part to it; I keep them in there.
I take them out whenever I want to play with them.
Not sure where I'ma put my SD boy when I get him though x.x

    4. mine stays in a bookshelf in my room in his livingroom which i made to be his house. he easily fits in them since he is a yo-sd any kind of barbie furniture suites him well

    5. my babies have their own little chill space on the computer desk in my room <33 i have a bunch of random doll furniture and whatnot ^^

    6. Here at college, I've actually left the top drawer to my dresser permanently open and lined it with spare sheets and blankets and that's where they live when I'm not photographing or playing with them. ^^

    7. When mine comes, I have a little area blocked out by my bookcase. Yes, on the floor, but my room's pretty safe, because my dogs never come in my room (and don't chew on things anyway), and my little siblings know they're not allowed in my room.

    8. Sorry if this doesn't go here or if there is one like this...

Ok well I have three cats, two live in my room, and one sleeps were I keep my dolls. I cant get my cat to get off there so, were can I keep my dolls? I dont like them on my bed, sitting next to the T.V (All though thats were they are), and I cant put them in the living room (only in my room), I dont like keeping them in their boxs, and I dont have a hole lot of tables and shelves.

So any Ideas? Were do you keep your dolls when your out? Were do you keep your doll's parts?

      Thanks,
      Rozen. =)

    9. I keep mine on a shelf, but I don't think that's of much help to you :3
Maybe you could find a chair to put them in?

    10. I have a drawer set up like a bed, and I can tuck my big guy into it whenever I'm not playing with him. That way it's not exactly his box, but still safe.

    11. I'm super paranoid about light/heat damage so when I'm not taking photos, most of my dolls stay in a dresser I got specifically to fit all of them at once :) I usually keep one out on my computer desk, safely away from pets/kids though.

    12. My girls are on my dresser. *shrug* They have also hung out on my headboard, but not every bed has a frame that will support that. Occasionally Briar is on my desk, pestering me about what I'm doing. I just tend to put them on a flat surface, out of sunlight, and where they are unlikely to fall.

    13. I just carry my boy around the house with me so that doesn't really help. Otherwise he sits on a couch or on my bed (we have dogs and cats but they leave him alone).

    14. I actually found my sister's american girl doll bed/house/carrying case thing in my attic, so I set it up in my closet and now that is my doll's "home". It's safe because when I close the door, nothing can bother her (sun, pets, etc.)

    15. My dolls stay in their boxes :( I don't have anywhere else to put them (I just moved). But before I moved, they also stayed in their boxes because I have a big dog and a cat that like to make things their toys.

    16. Right now Clarice is the only one, and she is little, so she sits on her pillow by my computer and keeps me company :whee: I want to clear a shelf in my bookcase though and make two little rooms - one for her, and one for Jacques when he arrives. The big (70cm +) doll I made lives on a little corner shelf in my room, highly recommended if you can do some DIY cos even if we had cats, it would be very difficult to jump onto!

    17. I put my boys in my wardrobe. I arranged one of my big pillows there plus two little ones for them as a bed 8'D and that's where they stay and cuddle when I'm not pestering them. Away from sunlight and my curious cats. :)

    18. I have two places that I keep them. Most of the boys sit on a shelf built next to my computer, my dad set it up specifically for them when I moved back home (I used to have a much taller bookshelf they all sat on when I'd moved away but I no longer have that shelf). It keeps them pretty well out of the sun but I hope to add a dark curtain to hang down from the shelf above them that I can use to cover them a bit more.

My more delicate WS boy and the floating heads all reside in a drawer under my bed. My bedframe has 6 giant drawes built into it which I found to be the perfect place to store them. In the end I'd rather not see them 24/7 than look at them all the time and have them get yellowed faster.

    19. I have this wonderful trunkcarrier for my MSD boys. They're always in there and it's great because they're never exposed to the light and it keeps the dust away.

For my SD boys I have a big bookshelf like this one. This is where I keep all my books (which is a lot!) and my boys stay on the top, wrapped in blankets with their head masks^^

    20. <--- bad dolly owner

I keep my full dolls buried under pillows on my bed... they like to make pillow forts!!
The heads hang out on my desk (especially the unpainted ones- they glare at me until I manage to get them sorted with new faceups) the painted ones prefer my plastic cubby drawer though...
