1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your doll?

Nov 16, 2004

    1. My dollies kind of get strewn about the house sometimes... which is something I really need to stop and keep them in either boxes or find safe places to display them. The doll I am saving for will absolutely have her own display case. I found a wicked cool glass floral display that I plan on turning into her docking station [she's going to be an android].

    2. I have acrylic cases that hang on the wall for four and then two sliding glass door cabinets for the others, sometimes I rotate them around a bit. It is so much easier to appreciate them and show them off this way to friends and family.

    3. Currently my doll sits on my computer desk. She used to sit on a shelf in a book shelf, but I've moved so things are all disorganized, and I'm hoping to get her set up in a bigger, and more elaborate spot, that I can decorate and make it look like her room or something.

    4. My doll's with me pretty constantly! When she's not, she's in her bed to keep her safe.

    5. On one side of my bed, on top of a box. I hope to eventually get a display case made and stands so I can have mine standing up together (depending on how many I end up with... ). Kinda wary of putting any on my shelves because of dust, though I guess that builds up anywhere.

    6. I bought a glass cabinet just for my dolls. My room accumulates dust very easily. So i try to keep the dust settling on my dolls at an absolute minimum.

    7. I have a glass display cabinet for my dolls but I would love to set up a mini bed for LTF Ante on my sidetable so I can see her when I wake up :D

    8. in a cabinet with glass doors, but i take them out often so they can keep me company :)

    9. My bjd dolls are in my puchi doll house from re-ment :dance

    10. I have a small plexi-glass box for my pukifee that I can carry around on put away on shelf. (my cats would steal her wig and probably her otherwise). Giggle usually sits on my computer desk when I'm home, but she comes with me to work from time to time.

    11. If I were at home normally she is in my bed room on her shelf, Sometimes on my bed.

    12. My gang is scattered all over the house. The tinies stay in the living room. They are the only dolls that don't scare the family. The rest stay on a dresser in the spare bedroom away from the sun. My three favorite dolls get to stay in my bedroom.

Beatrice (one of the favored three) is actually sitting next to me while I use the computer. Some days I'll carry her all round the house. I also take her to visit my sister and my nephew (he LOVES Bea but he's still in the oral phase so he can only look right now).

    13. My doll is almost always with me. >A> When I leave the house, I either hid it in my closet or under my covers to protect it from the sun.

    14. At the moment mine live wherever they want around my room, usually my bed, the computer desk, or my wardrobe. I'm planning to get a new bookcase for them to customize into small apartments :D

That's a long term project, though... I'm an unfortunately busy girl T_T

    15. I don't have my boy yet, but I've set up a space for him in my closet.

It's an empty box upside down with a jacket on top xD

    16. They live wherever they want. At the moment, half of them are in the bedroom on a shelf set, but I have my EID, two MSD's and an SD on the snooker table downstairs so I can work on clothes to sell at yaoicon.

    17. right now in thier boxs : 2 in my wardrobe, 2 in a cabinet and 1 in between the wardrobe and the cabinet

I need to find a better place for them :sweat

    18. I have a cupboard that's just tall enough to accomodate my 70 cm dolls, although since 7 full dolls are in there it's become a bit less spacious (and will be even more so when the dolls I'm waiting for arrive :sweat)

    19. I am looking for half of a curio cabinet to put my dolls in. The place I want to put them will not take a full curio cabinet. If I can not get that I might look for a book case. Now I keep her close to me by the computer.

    20. During the day when I'm around, I like to have her sitting in her chair or next to my laptop so I can look at her and mess with her every now and then...
However with my travelling lifestyle and lack of any permanence, my poor Bitter has to go back in her box at the end of each day, and then be stuffed under a bed somewhere. If I'm not in the RV, I'm in a hotel or in some relative's spare bedroom/office, so I can't just leave her sitting around at night or when I'm not in the vacinity.
I'm in the process of moving into a house though (with my own room! yaaay!) and hopefully then I'll be able to leave her out at night... of course, I'd have to put her somewhere safe, out of sunlight and other dangers, and change her in to something light colored so she doesn't get stained from being in the same outfit for too long... The material inside of her wig is white, so I'm lucky that I don't have to worry about that staining.
