1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your doll?

Nov 16, 2004

    1. Jerry sits in my bookshelf, possibly reading, though more likely not seeing as he's a doll.

    2. This is going to make me sound like a dolly abuser...
Basically, my room is reeeaally small and my cupboard is teeny, so Elly is in her box on the floor :sweat

    3. Currently my dolls sit on a pillow on my bed. Since my room is so full of all manner of crap I have no where else to keep my dolls. LOL

    4. She has her own bed on my night stand, and when she's not there, she's on top of my shell case in my living room. I really want a doll cabinate.

    5. I have alot of SD size furniture, they sit there watching movies with my husband and I, but usually sit with us or on our laps to watch.

Mine are everywhere I go. I have a couple of bags, but still am looking for that perfect one that will double as a pretty purse and a place to carry SD ones.

Going out, I usually sit them next to us on a booth or they peep their head out of my bag.

    6. UH; I always put them back in their box/carrier when I'm doing something else. Because my room is like a storage room than a bedroom ... I stack the carrier bag over the larger box next to yosd's box ;;;

    7. My room is small and I don't have large shelves or drawers for my soon-to-come 1/3 boys. I am planning to create some DIY coffin box/bed for them each and keep them under my bed.

    8. A special place, that is made as a room for them in my closet. :3

    9. My poor floating heads live in the doll box at the moment. (It's a box I made to keep all their clothes and accessories but until the heads get bodies they just chill in there. :P) My only full doll at the moment sleeps in his box (which I keep on top of the doll box). When my roommate and I move into our new apartment we'll have a whole room just for our dolls. We plan on making little bjd "apartments" out of bookshelves. So, each of our dolls (or couples) will have their own little room. ^^

    10. All my dolls are currently in their boxes, which are on shelves in my closet. I had them displayed on my bookshelf for a while, but I was afraid of dust and reaction to light, so I put them away. It's such a shame, but I'm planning on making them a display cabinet, so I can display them but close the doors and keep the light away from them when I'm not admiring!

    11. I let Ai sit on my desk when I am at the computer, if I am reading or knitting in bed he comes along with me and sit in the crook of my elbow XD At night he sleeps near my pillow. Now that school has started I am gonna bring him along with me to class and practice rooms (it's a music conservatory) so he can get some culture XD Basically for a $650 doll he's definitely not being kept under glass.

    12. A good portion of the day (when I'm home that is) Poe sits next to me on the couch in the living room.
Any other time he owns the top of my dresser, especially my basket of scarves (which he has claimed as his bed) XD

    13. I have some under the bed in neat plastic boxes. One sits on a chair in my wardrobe to greet me everytime I dress and the other two are sitting on my bedside table.

    14. New place as of now. She's now in a little make-shift bed at the foot of mine. My bed isn't nearly large enough to fit anything else but me, except (as I found one lazy day, last weekend) by my feet.

I stopped using my body pillow as a body pillow, since it tends to pull my blanket up, and I like to make sure there's no way I'll get a draft under my blanket. Now, it just keeps town the covers, so they don't untuck themselves while I sleep.

I was hanging around with Emma one day, and though I was tired, I didn't want to get up and put her on my nightstand as I usually did. So, I took an old pillowcase, and an Ugly Doll I bought up in Boston, and made a little make-shift bed on my body pillow. Of course, I made her look like she was sleeping, and I turned her head away from me (as my choice of blinds actually keep my room quite light at night - especially during times where the moon's out, or it snows) so I wouldn't wake up and freak out that she was staring at me.

    15. When I first got Royle he just laid in my bed. Then I put him on my dresser. Now he has he own little chair, so I usually sit him in that.

    16. I spend a lot of time in front of the monitor, so my dolls (Puki) sit side by side on the system box .. I want them to constantly see ..

    17. The "expensive" dolls are in their boxes inside a closet wearing white cotton clothes and face protectors, the two brownies in one of their book-shaped boxes on a shelf, and the MinoruWorld Junior and the Camellia Dynasty 1/6 guy usually sit on my shelves.

    18. Due to the enormous amount of light my dorm room receives, my dolls are usually kept in their box, under my bed (T^T) they sometimes come out to play at night though. In which case, they are usually right in my lap, or sitting on the dresser.

    19. I usually let my dolls lie down on my bed or sit with me on computer table when it already dark outside. But when the sun still shine or I go to school, I usually keep my dolls in bag or the original box with pillow.

    20. As a college student with east-facing dorm windows, Otavi spends most of his time in his bedbox under my bed. I would feel bad, but that box not only holds him, but also my fabric stash, making a nest that is probably way more comfortable than my bed...

I take him out in the evenings and sit him next to my computer so I can play with him, and then he goes back to bed when I do.
