Where do you keep your doll?

Adrienne has a bed that she lays in when I'm busy or sleeping or away--I still have to lay her out flat and straight, though, because her stringing is too tight and I'm trying to let it loosen without restringing her. She sleeps in the bald, and I store her one god wig on a lightbulb on a bottle to keep it neat and clean.

 

Kiyo is usually on the couch, or on the table behind me on in my lap. He gets moved around quite often. Bailey sits in his box, because he's not ready for the outside world yet.

 

i love that idea of a drawer for a hound to sleep in... x3 seeing as beds for them are difficult to get.

chiei, whenever i'm awake and at home, he's with me. when i'm at my desk, he'll sit in a cheapo little chair or on the edge of it, so i can look at him and talk to him. at night he sleeps in a nice flooshy crib on the desk attached to my bed - i got this really funky bed that's like waist-high off the ground and there's a desk that can slide under it that's attached.

he took over it as soon as he got here. XD

 

So far Ko likes to stay on my desk next to my mouse. And at night he sleeps in my bed with me ^^

 

I keep all mine out on my computer desk, I'll have to take a pic later ^^

 

Either on my bed (HIGH UP and away from my chew-happy dog), or in her bunkbed.

Actually another reason why I keep Belial in the drawer ( I originally want to sit him up on my night table) is because my room is the ideal mushroom farm cause it's sooo dark and at night when I'm not wearing my glasses and am blind as a bat I am very liable to knock him over and perhaps trample him a little if I need to go to the loo.

My room gets very very dusty for some reason and I find them sticking to his wig and very hard to clean...maybe the face mask is a little over the top but yeah i hate to accidentally brush one eyebrow off :P:P:P

 

When he is not at play I put him in his box he came in. Our house gets pretty dusty so it is so I don't have to dust him. It is a very nice black box and he lays on his purple pillow (like royality). He also has in the box a tiny bear. (he didn't come with one so I gave him one) He don't take his clothes off but just set him in it. I do put on his face mask he came with so to protect his lovely faceup. I am so careful with his face. He is my first doll so I am being careful with him (yes, so careful that he fell over in some tall grass during a photo shoot and had to pick grass out of his clothes and wig. ops: ).

But as I look back that is how I always play with my things, even as a child. I play with them and neatly put them away until next play time. The only exception seems to be my plushies.

I do plan on clearing off a special place on top our cedar chest I can have him relax there. *fights off dust bunnies*

 

usally in my bed. i have been meaning to make a bed for her but i havent yet. i'm getting a smaller bed so she will have to go some where else

 

I have a doll sized bunk bed that belonged to my mom when she was little. It is the perfect size for Kobu to lay out flat if he wants to. The bed could probably fit four dolls laying down, and many more sitting up, so I won't have a problem when Jordan finally gets a body (or when I expand my doll family in the future).

Kobu does spend a lot of time on my bed or with me wherever I happen to be in the house. When I take him out of my room he usually has to stay pretty close because my house is kind of crowded and I am afraid someone will sit on him.

I have a Cadogen Gardens dollhouse from England I am building for my little elf dolls, hopefully it will look something like this when its finished (these are pics of the same kit completed) Though I have different furnishings and I am painting it differently on the outside:




For my big SD girls I have NO idea what I am gonna do ! lol

Funny because they are getting here first! I am thinking of getting my boyfriend to make them some furniture, if he is willing! And my mom to sew some pillows and blankets

 

my dolls have a whole self and desk for there house ( what comes of having a room just for my mom's doll collection. However since I'm not there now, I think they are on my bed where I left them.

 

I don't have my doll, but I love replying :grin: ! I've been meaning to organize my dresser drawers, so today I emptied them all out, filled two garbage bags with items I no longer want or use, and neatly replaced all the items. I tossed so much that I have two completely empty drawers. One I'll be giving to my sister since she doesn't have a lot of storage space in her little room and the other (which is much deeper) will be saved for my dolls. It's long enough for about two minis to lay with their feet touching and wide enough for maybe three dolls comfortably, so it'll be perfect. I just need to cushion it with blankets, but that can wait until I finally get my doll, which will be sometime after New Years.

 

My SDs Kocha and Ilya have their own sofa, and Tsuki'ryu, Kolya, and Toddy have their own sofa too. They will eventually have a corner of my room, for their sofas, etc.... as soon as I re-arrange the chaos!
My two tiny boys will be living in my Edwardian Doll house, that my father built for me, but first I have to get my craft room set up. Then I can finish painting and furnishing their house.
At the moment, my MSDs have taken over the chair in my room, but hopefully they will be moving to the bed, as soon as I evict a few Anime plushies, dragons, and such. Later, with luck, they will in time have a nice deep shelf to hang out on...I just have to figure out where to put all my music CDs first!
Lucifer used to stay in my room, in the chair with the rest of the MSDs, but now he pretty much hangs out in the living room, since that is where I seem to be most of the time. Plus, it is closer to the kitchen and my friend's room, two other places that I spend alot of time in! He's been insisting on staying out there ever since I got back from AWA/Disney World. (He didn't get to go, and it was the first time I was gone for more than a few hours!) Now he doesn't seem to want to let me out of his sight! :wink:

 

Nikolai used to occupy a disk chair set up on the other side of the room. When Jahairian got here, it was hard to get them both seated comfortably xD

They have since comandeered the shelf above my desk, and sit snuggled up to my textbooks : D;

 

Well, Odile sleeps and lounges in a basket with her cushions, which is located HIGH in a bookshelf, away from my kitty lol

 

lately my kids have been hanging out in the living room(on the couch), in my brother's room/sewing room(when I'm making something for them), or in my room-on my bed(its hard to fit us all on there >.<) often times I carry one around the house with me ^__^

 

They stay on their own bed. I don't even use it anymore xD

 

Dakarai has claimed the two seater couch in my room... He's got his plushies on there too.

During the day, he's either on my bed or if I go out, I'll take him with me ^^
