1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Which do you prefer plastic, acyrlic, silicone or glass eyes?

Sep 1, 2005

    1. At the moment my favourite eyes are Ausu2 Urethanes...( like little jewels)

    2. Glass eyes, all the way. Very few of my dolls were acrylic.

    3. Right now my girls are in glass and that was always my first choice before urethanes came out, but now I really want to try those!

    4. I've had all types of eyes....glass, urethane, acrylic. I have compared them all and have found glass to be top notch in the eye category for me. Leekeworld makes very high quality glass eyes, which are the only eyes I use for my dolls. I highly recommend them!

    5. I am definatley partial to glass eyes, I love the look and quality :)

    6. I like whatever eyes look the most realistic. A lot of glass eyes tend to be a solid color and your eyes just aren't like that. I think there tends to be more detail in acrylic eyes (though I have seen some very nice glass eyes and some awful looking acrylic ones so it can go either way)

    7. I love glass eyes, just because of how they shine in the doll. In my opinion they just look more real.

    8. I prefer the glass one for this realistic feeling they got. Its smooth its shine and the bright color are way bright than in other material (Imo)
I used to take acrylic because it was cheaper and its still better than nothing but more I shop for my dolls and more I try to "upgrade" them and acrylic look like cheap compared to other material eyes.
Silicone is not bad too, I don't personally shop for them but if I buy a doll and a pair come with ill use them no problem. I don't remember where I saw that but someone said silicone yellow faster..
And Urethane I just don't even take a look at those, they are VERY gorgeous but i'm not the girl whos gonna spend 40$ for eyes when I can have some at 10$ that are perfect for me.
