1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Who is the most "masculine" boy?

May 22, 2006

    1. Have you seen the new Unidoll Rio? Now he is what you would call manly! :D

    2. I'm liking the new Rio...he has a touch of Ark without so much anger. I really, really like the Unidoll boys for the "manly" factor.

    3. I just saw Iplehouse Aaron. ZOMG!!!! He's one hunky hunk. :drool

    4. I totally agree! I think Elfdoll K is "muy macho"! The first time I saw K, and that scowl on his face, I said "Whoa! Now, that's someone who won't be mistaken for a girl!"

    5. Oh. My. Gosh. Why did you have to tell me about Unidoll Rio, why??? Here I was, all happy with my dolls and settled on getting an Iplehouse Barron (who is $100 cheaper!!!)...then I see HIM.

      WHY??????????????????

    6. I really like Rio too... Sigh... I'm going to be broke for years. ;)

    7. Well, you'd sure have one heck of a hard time trying to disguise Unidoll's Ark as a girl! (Especially when he's wearing his "bat-ears" ...) *lol* That's one of the reasons why I got him instead of another boy even though there's several out there that I really, really, REALLY like. Unidoll's Rio gets my vote, too.

    8. I agree. Especially Special K, the beat up one.

    9. The three most 'masculine' men in my opinion.

      Volks Yukinojo

      Elfdoll K - especially Special K

      &

      Unidoll Jace.

... Unidoll Rio fits the bill, too.

      So... 4.

    10. I would have to say the most masculine body I seen on a male BJD is Soom's Sard. Sard's face is kind of girlish though *cough* looks like Dia *cough*

    11. Iple's Aaron couldn't pass for a girl even if he tried ^_~ The bishonen boys, and the larger Unidoll boys in my opinion also would look TERRIBLE as females-especially Ark [shivers]

    12. I think the mould is only half of making a head look masculine. I think even the most effeminate head could look more masculine with the right faceup.

I think one of the main things regarding face-ups making guys look too effeminate is that some people make the eyebrows too high and stick on lashes that are too long.

    13. Not to mention most eyebrows are so femininally groomed. <.< How many manly men pluck/wax their eyebrows to such shaped thinness? A key point for a masculine faceup is thicker brows.

    14. Definitely dollshe boys. I think most of them look very 'masculine' Maybe its their jaw structures. Either way, their my favorite mold. <333

    15. I think the Iplehouse male bodies are the most masculine... and facewise... I prefer Dollshe.

    16. Oh, yeah. Ark in a dress? Is a terrifying thing. *has an Ark and once forced him into a dress*
All of those guys are quite masculine (though my Ark has been called a girl several times :doh) and I can't really imagine any of them being mistaken for female. Also what I consider pretty masculine are the Mecha Angel boys and most of the Dollshe boys.

    17. I would agree that Unidoll Ark, Jace, Bishonen House boys and Limwha Mano are some of the most masculine dolls.

    18. wow this is from awhile back 0.0

but! my nominate- IpleHouse EID ^.^ link :drool

    19. I second the nomination!

    20. third! No doubt;)
