1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Who is the most "masculine" boy?

May 22, 2006

    1. i agree with gantaeno. iplehouse has a nice selection of manly dolls, akando being my favorite.

    2. I think Iplehouse EID Men are rather manly. One of the manlier ones I've seen so far.
And check out that bod! *faints*

    3. OMG! He's sooo awesome! That scruff is sooo... *hyperventilates* I wanted to get myself an Akando but my dad has gender issues so yeah...got the Jessica instead. Haha.

    4. Ohmygawd, yes they are. I think I just fell in love with Ian. I love blonds :)

    5. Gotta vote for the EID men. They can't even be called "boys" really!

Although, it's true that the Bishonen House guys are very manyly too (quite despite the 'bishie" label!).

    6. Ohmy... :aheartbea I know everyone was going nuts about Tedros... but of the Iplehouse Men (with capital M :)) Lou is my favourite.
But I am looking for something manly and masculine in about 62 to 64 cm or so? As much as I love him, this boy is 70 cm :)

    7. Iplehouse's 60cm boys are mostly (not all of them) manly. Like Tedros. And Akando.

      MMMMMMM TEDROS. Lol.

    8. Less expensive is the Dragon Doll Uncle body... if you like manly chest and tendons. He also comes with three optional manly parts. Other manly dolls (what I originally had my eye on when I bought my Uncle) are from Dream Realm.

    9. LMAO @ Tedros freakout :)
Well, the site says that Tedros, Akando and Lou are 70cm. My girl is a Y.I.D. and only 59cm. 11cm is a bit too much of a diference for me.
Now MAYBE if they come up with an S.I.D. boy/man/thing? Soori and Barron are pretty hot, but but I find the Y.I.D. body too skinny for my liking. Reason why the E.I.D. have me drooling big time :D *sigh*

    10. Oh figures... I LOVE this boy, this Volks SD16 Sawaragi Yukinojo.... Gorgeous boy/man, and 65cm tall. So perfect... he starts at about $1,300... No can do *sigh* Not unless I win the lottery.

    11. Well that is a nice body. But they are 71cm according to the website...
No matter though. I can't buy this boy till next year, or at least after December or January. By then Iplehouse is bound to have a whole new lineup. so I won't stress yet :)

    12. Iplehouse Akando, Luo and Kamau with the superhero bod.

    13. any 70 cm boy from dollshe would work and the name of these dolls doesnt come to my mind at the moment, but their are these dolls on implehouse, I believe, that are VERY masculine. like theyre RIPPED and they are very tall and not androgynous at all. youll know them when you se them. they are the only kind of bjd that looks like that. good luck!

    14. I myself love the more masculine boys, the two that I have that I feel are the most masculine are Elfdoll's Mir (no way are you making him a girl) and Unidoll's Jace.

    15. Same here. And that Jace is absolutely gorgeous. Too bad he's 67cm :( I am drawing the line at 64... maybe 65.

    16. I third Unidoll. Most of their fellas look quite masculine.
And Raurencio studio, and of course, Iple's EIDs. Luo I think is very definately male.
There are some youthful but clearly masculine sculpts I remember seeing and I've been looking for ages now and I can't remember where I saw them. Gah, I'll be looking all day now...

    17. Most masculine boy I got, so far, is Unidoll's Ark. Though if what my sister thinks will come true, my manliest man will be my Minimee Celaran (done after my design). Dear sis thinks that Akando with long hair looks kinda like a girl *lol*. Whereas she said that Celaran with long hair definitely does look male.

I tend to agree just a bit on Akando. He looks very - young for a man. Luo looks more mature, imho.

    18. I also think the Iplehouse EID boys are the most masculine and out of them I think Luo has the most masculine look. That doesn't stop me from loving Akando and Kamu too.

      I'm really wanting a Luo....now. :aheartbea
