1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Why are limited dolls worth it?

Feb 2, 2011

    1. Don't think too much, just buy a doll that you like enough to spend your money and enjoy!

I bought a lot of limited and standard and I treat them the same. I play with them, take them out, change their face-up etc.

I am picky with my doll and will keep only the one I really like so I buy and sell alot. For me,The diffferent between Limited and standard dolls is limited dolls have higher resell price and If you buy limited directly from company usually their price are not much higher than standards.

I admit I found SOOM MD with all his fantasy parts and glory fullset outfit is cumbersome to play as well but when he wears his normal clothes, he is easy to play with.

I must say my SOOM Chrom is my all time favourite male doll even I dislike his thin arms and he has body that can only pose basic position which this reason lead me to sell many dolls I used to own but even with those flaws I still like him the most anyway.

    2. I own six LE dolls/dolls you can't buy on the company sites anymore. I actually had to do a search because I wasn't really sure on some of them.
I do face-ups and body blushing just like on my other dolls, play with them and everything. It would be really boring and a waste of money getting a doll and then not being able to play with it just because it's a LE.

    3. If you don't feel comfortable handling an LE that's cool, it's all up to opinion! I have 2 limited soom dolls, 1 limited outfit and 1 limited wig. My girl is in them all the time. I brush her hair, take her outside, cuddle her, everything! I bought everything with the intention of having fun and playing. When I'm not making my dolls accessories or swapping parts for fun, I have them out on the shelf so that I can repose them or even just pat them as I pass by. Price doesn't make much of a difference to how I treat my dolls because this hobby is only worth it to me if I can have fun :). I know where my price range is and I just stick to that.
